These are great...programmed an Alexa "Let's Disco" routine which turns both bulbs to Scene 4, shuts off the rest of my lights and plays my 70s disco playlist...instant disco. My friends find it amusing. When I've had enough, I just tell Alexa to "Kill Disco" and everything goes back to normal. It's strangely satisfying.

I rated these high because of the ease of set up. I've had other smart lights and plug-ins that were challenging. But good to know, the white setting is bright cool white, not typical of your lamp lights. And the colors are not as bright as the white light. Pairing with Alexa was equally as easy. Simple request to Alexa to dim or change color works great.

All you need to do is plug the bulb in and flip the switch a few times until light is blinking "see video".Then, you just download the SmartLife app, select the device you want to add (light bulb) and boom. You can quickly select your wi-fi network, enter the password and you're in business.What is the best part you ask? WELL LET ME TELL YOU! IT SYNCS TO ALEXA RIGHT AWAY!!!That's right, no hub required! I re-name the bulbs based on where they are in the rooms and it works perfectly.The other great thing about these bulbs is the app makes it so easy to change from colour bulb to soft white, nice added touch.Honestly these are a steal compared to philips hue and serve the exact same function with easier setup. Definitely worth it.

Previously I had purchased 2 brizzled smart bulbs and was not really satisfied. They are fine in lights with a clear fixture, but in a lamp with a shade they weren't bright enough. These on the other hand are much better all around. For one the color of the white setting is closer to the natural white light spectrum. While these do not go all the way to the cool white of daylight they do get close enough.Pros:Light is very bright.Price is right, especially when comparing to something like a Phillips Hue.Color change is a nice feature.Easy setup.Works with Alexa.Can set routines through Alexa.Cons:Would like them to be closer to daylight.No hub integration so setting something like a motion sensor might not be possible (I haven't tried yet).Tip:The reason I like the color change is red light does not bother your eyes when you get up to go to the bathroom. So to set this up automatically I have routines created in Alexa. At a set time at night my light turns on to red and sets the dimmer to my preference. Then 1 minute later it shuts off. So if I get up at night to use the restroom it will be red. Then at a set time in the morning it will turn on to white, then turn off 1 minute later.

These work great but the brightest feature it has is the white light and it reminds me of a hospital light, something like that, when you change the color, it does not let you brighten it that much so it is pretty dim if you choose to make it a different color. I like more of a soft glow, this was straight white and didn’t seem cozy to me, overall works great, just preference

Lights arrived in good condition and were easy to set-up. I felt they didn't put out as much volume of light as I was hoping for and the "scenes" are pretty limited. There are only 2 scenes that flash for a party type setting and you can only put in so many colors into the rotation.

My only wish is that these light bulbs would be brighter when in a color mode. The white is sort of fluorescent white which is not my favorite but certainly lights up the room. But when you change them to be colored lights they are decidedly darker and not as bright to fill up the room with color. More of mood lighting than anything else. That all said outstanding bargain for the price. I guess that's a little redundant. It's a good price and an outstanding bargain. How about that instead? :-)

At first I was skeptikall about how bright would of be the white color.. Im not dissapointed at all with 100% brightness tone. The other colors are a very soft light to ambiance a room, just like your average color accent light don' expect them very brighr. It was easy to set up: Tip: turn the light off and on for 3 or 4 times rapidly the first time to get until you get it blinking fast so that you can pair it easier to the app. Also. Make sure your phone is super close to the light the first time for an easier sync. Awesome Product. Recommended.
