Adjustable Razor For A Perfect Shave
I actually bought two of these razors so I am leaving the same review for both of them. The razors are identical; the other razor I bought simply comes with the stand.I used my first safety razor years ago and after my first shave, I threw away my disposables and multi-blade razors never looking back or considering anything else. Safety razors not only provide a closer smoother shave but they are easier to clean, last longer, give me an irritation free shave, and are even more affordable in the long run (I just bought 100 replacement blades for roughly ten dollars here on Amazon). What makes this particular safety razor special is that it has an adjustable head, so if you want a longer shave you are able to adjust the razor further from the blade. The design utilizes a heavy-duty spring that you will see when changing out the blade. The razor has a great weight to it and provides me with smooth legs that were nick free. I love the leather storage case that comes with the razor; it makes for a great addition while traveling. There is a stand sold separately for this razor, I personally really enjoy the stand as it is a simple design and takes up little room in my shower. The design is a heavy weighted bottom with a hole all the way through the stand to prevent damage to your razor.

Great razor but be careful adding/removing blades
From what I understand, this design is a knockoff of some of the other adjustable safety razors out there. That's why it's a fraction of the price. My concern with the lower price was quality. It seems to be well made. The top of the head of the shaver pulls out (no screw to undo) and then pushes back in. It works just fine but I haven't had it long. I was getting ripped to shreds by my old safety razors to the point where I was considering going back to being ripped off using a cartridge razor. My life from age 16 to 51 has been an ongoing quest to find the best shave for the cheapest price. I think I've now found shaving nirvanah!! There are 6 settings and you just turn the handle to go through them. I am at setting 1 and at that setting I get a close enough shave for me but best of all,at least at 1 it's very difficult to cut yourself. I think as I get more comfortable I may try a 2 but either way...I am so happy!!!Update: May 11, 2019 I still love the razor but you must be very careful adding/removing blades. Maybe it's just me but I never got cut messing with blades with my old butterfly razor but this one is difficult to safely add remove blades. I just got cut twice pretty good today. I would still recommend this razor especially if you have problems finding a double edged safety razor that doesn't leave you with cuts on your face but just be careful you don't get cuts on your hands instead. LOL. Note: I had originally given 5 stars but I'm reducing to 4 stars because of this seemingly bad design flaw. Happy Shaving.update March 2020. I have finally figured out a way to take the danger out of changing blades with this razor. I take a hand towel and grab the top of the razor with that when I pull the top off to change the blade. This way if anything slips, I won't get cut. With that issue taken care of, this product goes back up to 5 stars. Every other double edged safety razor I've owned has cut my face to shreds. Not this one, I truly love it!!!!

Good value, great adjustable razor, annoying blade replacement
Shaves nicely, good weight. The head feels extra large and needs some getting used to.I like that it's adjustable, the reason I went with this razor was it seemed to be the best quality adjustable for a low price. I had a 2 piece DE razor that could not handle a beard without trimming it down first. I set this one to 6 and it plows right through a beard that would jam up any other razor. 6 is however way too aggressive for my sensitive neck so I dial it down to 2 for my neck and any clean up that needs a second pass. The scale is from 0.5 to 6 The minimum setting appears so extra mild that it's hard to hold an angle that actually makes contact with the blade.I was initially skeptical about the smooth handle. I had another razor with a smooth black handle that was dangerously slippery when wet. Something about the finish on this razor does provide some grip with wet hands. The way it changes blades is annoying but I'll get used to it. I've read some people are cutting themselves, there aren't any instructions included. The best way I've found is to hold the razor and push up on one side with your thumb, this gets the head loose and you can remove it with your other hand. The blade will be stuck in that top piece and I just gently remove it with a sturdy wash cloth. Align the new blade in the head slots, align the two posts of the top piece and press down firmly until it snaps in place. I have to take away a star for this snap on design, It's not necessarily bad but more inconvenient than the other ways of changing a blade. Another reviewer pointed out the two studs that provide the "snapping" will eventually wear out from friction tho that should take a long time.
