Good Quality, doesn't fit all AM4 motherboards
I was using this on a gigabyte motherboard, and some capacitors got in the way of it fitting. Even after some sanding it down, there was about 3-4 mm hitting one of the caps on the board. Seems like its good quality, just check with Cryorig about compatible motherboards because this was a bad experience.

Exactly what I needed for my AM4 - Ryzen 3900X rig. This is for the Cryorig R1 Ultimate model.
Exactly, what I needed. Couple years ago, I bought the Cryorig R1 Ultimate for a socket 1150 Intel build. I have upgraded to a Ryzen 3900x which uses the socket AM4. When I got the Cryorig R1 Ultimate, it did not have AM4 support at that time. This is exactly what I needed, to mount the cooler to my new AM4 socket AMD build.I can confirm from a another reviewer that the backplate and mounting mechanism will feel oddly loose at first. This is NORMAL. I thought it wasn't normal at first and was pretty worried. Once the actual cooler screws into the mounting bracket it tightens back up. Now I am able to use my favorite air cooler and does a very good job compared to the AMD stock cooler that came with my Ryzen 3900X.

Never use.
Defective. The design is bad with steel sprees going in what look like aluminum. Worked once and then the mount plate screw holes stripped while removing. Second set for up/down mount stripped while reinstalling. Replacement plate, this one, arrived already damaged. This whole design is flawed.

Works as expected.
As others have mentioned, the nature of this bracket is that it hangs very loose before installing the heat sink. I searched high and low because I swore something was wrong and then I just decided to go at it and sure enough things worked out fine. Using this on a Asus tuf x570 board.

Exactly what you're looking at.
Nothing complicated here. Just what you need to be able to mount your cooler on an AM4 board. However it is not stated in the instructions but once you put the plate on the back of the motherboard and attach the screws on the other side it is not tight against the board. Once you actually install the cooler and tighten it down it will become tight. So don't worry of it seems oddly loose to begin with!
