You need this. Really good performance.
It's heavy (that's good) and consistent. Diamond coating on the side of wheel is extremely useful. Good balance, runs true. When it's brand new you'll want to break it in on test pieces (old chisels, etc.). The diamonds will "break in" with about 30 minutes or so of grinding. It's very important that you use light pressure - DO NOT push hard on the Tormek Diamond wheels. You don't need to if you're using the right grit - and with the ease of changing wheels - it's a no brainer. Use with water bath to avoid airborne metal particulate (your lungs will thank you). Worth the investment. I think I have just about every Tormek wheel they make, and the DF-250 is my go-to wheel. Great purchase/investment.

Works great on a Tormek T8
This stone which is labeled as a Fine Stone is quick to remove metal and shape a blade for sharpening. If you are wanting to grind for a new edge, this may be your second stone but this one would still work fine. This one really shapes a bad edge or chipped edge for further refining. Since it doesn't wear like the stone that comes with the Tormeks, it will retain it's original size until someday the diamond stone will wear off but still retain it's size. They are expensive, but a fine stone all the more. I have the 600 stone and the 1000 stone as well at the Japanese 4000 stone. I use this very frequently as my starting process to fix a dull knife.

Got it fast and for a good price
Got the 600 Grit Tormek Diamond Wheel fast and for a reasonable price but have not opened the package or tried it out yet.

Fantastic addition to my Tormek!
I sold my original stone. This wheel puts an excellent edge on any tool. It cuts well, stays true and what's great to me is that it doesn't absorb water so you can pour the water tray back into a container and dry the wheel in a couple of minutes. Oh yeah, you can use the MB-100 and "sharpen on the side of the Tormek Diamond Wheels, thus creating a completely flat bevel". That's great, too! I have 2 CBN wheels on a grinder to do my fast shaping so I don't need two different diamond wheel grits. I'm a completely satisfied customer.

Very good, should have grit on inside edge
Very good to use, would work better with grit on left edge to help with finishing the handle end of left edge of knives and other handled tools.

True and defect free.
Got just what I was expecting, a round, true diamond wheel without any defects.

Maybe yes, maybe no!
The need to use a separate rust preventer makes this less convenient than I had hoped! Maybe the results will be worth it, time will tell!
