excellent choice as a quick solution for many small jobs during your cooking
The KitchenAid KHB2352CU 3-Speed Hand Blender is an excellent choice as a quick solution for many small jobs during your cooking. The soft grip handle is very comfortable and makes it easy to hold the stick. The whole unit has a heavy well made feel to it. The blender attachment has done an excellent job thus far in making soups, guacamole, mayonnaise, vinaigrette, etc. It has power to spare. The chopper attachment works well on small portions. It does suffer from the same thing that most other choppers of this caliber do in that it doesn't do really well when asked to chop up leafy items such as cilantro. It gets the job done, but could be better. Cleanup is a breeze. Everything seems to just rinse right off the metal attachments. No stains. Love that when compared to plastic blenders. An easy way to clean these is place a small amount of water with dish soap in your blending jar and submerge the blending arm and give it a pulse or two. Voila, clean. One complaint I do have with the unit is that the blending arm falls off at times. I'm not sure if it is the way that I'm applying force without knowing it and I somehow manage to untwist the locking mechanism or if it is a fault of the unit. Otherwise it performs flawlessly. One of my favorite uses is to make whip cream. Why buy the chemical filled whip cream we now find at the grocery store when you can garb some whipping cream and whip up some wonderful home made whipped cream in a minute or two with this little gadget. All done using the whip and the container it comes with. Then if by chance there is any left over it stores well in the container. And your family and friends will rave about it.

it's well-balanced and comfortable to hold
This blender works very well. It has plenty of power, it's well-balanced and comfortable to hold. I bought it because it was the top-rated choice in Cook's Illustrated's immersion blender test, and I think that rating is justified. The only problem I have with it is that nowhere does it say, suggest, or show that it's not cordless. I really wanted a cordless blender. This has a fairly short cord - by design, to prevent accidents, according to the manual - and it just reaches from the nearest outlet to my stove. I'm not sure if you can even get a good cordless immersion blender, but it irks me that they don't make it clear that this is corded. It doesn't mean I can't use it, and I don't like it, but I think it's deceptive.

Worth the purchase!!!
I love that this blender can do so many things! It is compact (A huge perk while living overseas and having limited storage!) I was greatly impresses by how quickly it could get things done. The blending cup is perfect for making baby food (I am sure many other things too but as of right now that is my primary use for it. The motor is very strong. My only complaint is having to hold the button down the entire time. This is a small price to pay however for how handy and fast this is. My husband has used it for the food processor, again very fast, the blades are perfectly sharp and no big pieces were left behind in the cup. We haven't used the whisk yet as we do have a stand mixer and most things needing a whisk we mix in that.

Works great!
Works great, I've made tons of smoothies with it and it cleans up quick. Only giving it 4 stars because of these issues:1) the pan guard discolored the first time I used it. It went from grey to green. I'm concerned about its food safety and will be contacting Kitchen Aid to ask for an explanation and a replacement pan guard.2) the attachments attach easily, but because they have a smooth finish they can be difficult to remove if your hands are slightly wet. A higher friction surface would be a better design for me.

This hand blender will change your life, haha!
I absolutely looooooooove this hand blender set. Before this purchase when I was making a soup that required blending, I'd have to go through the messy and dangerous process of trying to transfer the hot liquid to my standing blender, blending it, and then transferring it back into the pot. And, on top of all that, I then had to clean all of the blender pieces..... Not fun. Now I don't have to worry about any of that. Just blend it in the pot it's cooked in! Having only one thing to clean as opposed to cleaning the 4 parts of my blender is so nice. This hand blender saves so much time and effort and that's only covering one of the attachments in the set, haha! Onto the rest. I use mostly cast iron, so the blender cover comes in handy because I don't have to worry about scratching them and messing up the "seasoning". The whisk attachment is a life saver. I can easily whip up egg whites for baked goods, whereas previously I was just using my hand-held whisk. The mixing cup that it comes with is so handy and is the perfect size. I can make my morning smoothie and drink it straight out of the cup. The only piece I haven't used yet is the chopper -- I'll update when I do -- but it looks similar to my Ninja chopper and I'm guessing it will be either of the same quality or even better. This blender set could effectively replace my Cuisinart blender, food processor, and Ninja chopper and it takes up sooooo much less space. The ONLY complaint I have is the motor piece that you hold while you are blending could be considered by some to be a little heavy. After blending egg whites for several minutes my arms got tired, but I chalk that up to me having weak arms and wouldn't fault the product. The only way I could see this affecting your purchase is if you are (or are thinking of buying it as a gift for) an elderly person or someone with severe muscle or joint problems. With that being my only complaint, I gave a 5 star rating. I love this product, it's my favorite kitchen purchase so far, and I definitely recommend it!
