excellent stethoscope for old ears!
My 2 cents - I'm a mid-career hospitalist, and have a 3100 and 3200 (1 for usual job, 1 for locums traveling). The main difference is that I can choose the combined setting on the 3200, and listen to heart and lung sounds without having to change it. (purists, do some deep breathing to your happy place here). The downside is both of them are easily damaged, as slide off coat easily, and then function is a little spotty, especially the time that happened running to a Rapid Response, and all I heard was static till I rebooted it. Also annoying if battery dies during rounds. The upside of these is easy to keep clean with Cavi Wipe or alcohol, easy to see volume, easy to change diaphragm/bell filters without moving scope, just by button push. And, I like the HR count it gives me (which is usually pretty accurate). And is pretty light.Comparison- none yet; I am going to try an Eko I think, but a little worried about nosocomial risk with the button.Techy features - bluetooth etc. Who really cares? Even with Epic, taking care of patients matters, not video games.I do like getting them from Medisave, because then they engrave with my name, and we all know how physicians like to see our name in print!

very good
stethoscope is very good but not as superior as conventional, has some limitations to record heart sounds and uqe could only record a time. and you must use an external device blootuhs trasferis data to the computer. and the price is too high for the advantages

Love it
Great stethoscope particularly if you are a gadget type of person. I realize it’s not necessary for most people, but I love it even if I don’t necessarily need it. Haha It’s also wonderful for manual BPs - you’ve never heard such a clear pulse before. I ordered mine through another site though for free engraving in case I ever misplace it!

If it doesn’t work consistently, it isn’t worth the money.
This stethoscope was great for the first year. Then it started turning off when I touched the patient with the bell. Very aggravating. I will be contacting Littman and asking for the Master Cardiology stethoscope I have always used in the past.

Easy to hear in noisy rooms
Noise cancelling and volume control make great in loud environments. Multiple memories make it useful to share or review cardio/pulmonary sounds when consulting with peers. I have used it since April 2011 in home health and it works great. With auto off the AA battery lasts for weeks.

Works great when it is new, wears out quickly
Stethoscope bell is moderately heavy, bulky to wear with earpieces around neck, hung over neck or in a pocket. To protect scope between uses, I had to buy a large plastic shoebox with hinge cover. Takes up a lot of room in my small work locker. The bell weight helps keep it in place during BP or lung assessments, however. This is the second scope I have as the first one finally died after the electronics failed 6 years after purchase.I am hearing impaired and the CHEAP equipment provided by employers in isolation kits do not transmit sounds. I have also found on other review sites the problem of the scope spontaneously and inconsistently SHUTTING OFF when the bell is placed on the patient. This happens in spite of battery changes. I bought this scope aprox 1.5 years ago and this started up 6 months ago. Plus the sound quality is poor now as well, hearing a lot of static and muffled heart tones. I just ordered a bell cover replacement to see if this helps. Don't know what I'm going to do about the erratic power down, though....

Product is praobably awesome
There is absolutely no reason this item has to be sold to licensed practitioners. There are many PreHospital Paramedics and EMTs that need the benefit of an amplified stethoscope due to getting older or after many years of working in the field listening to sirens. To not sell to those individuals as well lets me know all I need to about this company.
