Package represented as NEW was opened and makes me question if actually new or DEMO or installed on another boat.
Unit received today. I opened the box and found what may be a demo unit? The transducer bracket had silicone on it making me worry this unit had been installed? The head unit looked new. The transducer doesn't look like it had been installed BUT I called humminbird to exchange the transducer for the trolling motor mounted mega DI unit. They may not exchange as the package had been opened. I need the XTM 9 MDI T, but Humminbird won't exchange it because the unit had been OPENE
