SINLAND Microfiber Dish Towels Waffle Weave Kitchen Towels Absorbent Hand Towels for Kitchen 16inch x 24inch

I am extremely disappointed by the poor absorption of these towels because I bought the same ones (except in red instead of green) last year and *those* were and still are GREAT. I clicked on the "buy this item again", so I expected to get the same towels, but, Noooooo! They are the inverse of the others. While I was amazed by how quickly the first set absorbed water, I was stunned how the towels in this second set pretty much just push water away as if they had been treated with Scotchgard™. When I touch them with wet hands they feel unpleasant–slick, as if coated with... well, something. I have laundered them several times (yes, without fabric softener), but no joy. In comparing the towels, I discovered that my original (wonderful) towels have tags that read "Novex", but these new ones have tags that read "Sinland". The fabric content matches, but, to quote Kurt Koffka, "The whole is other than the sum of the parts". "Other" in not a good way, in this case.

I’ve been buying these towels for several years to print on. Suddenly they are scorching terribly, discoloring the towel irreparably. Some research revealed that the sizing being used on them now is, apparently, basically, plastic based. ☹️😳I’m really disappointed. They WERE super nice towels.I hope they go back to their previous way of finishing the towels. I won’t be buying anymore of these until I hear through the grapevine that they’re okay again.Super disappointed. I loved printing these towels.

Based on some of the reviews for this product I was not sure if I would be happy with these cloths. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the cloth as well as the large size. The waffle pattern looks pretty and they work well to dry dishes and hands. This light cream color goes well with everything. I highly recommend these dish towels to anyone who needs a new set. They are great dish towels.

The Sinland labeled towels appear to be the same manufacturer as those branded Novex. I previously bought the Novex brand, which literally repelled water. I believe this is due to the material being non-split microfiber. While the Sinland towels do not repel water, they are equally thin, and I would not classify them as "highly absorbent". They are good enough to dry your hands, but that's about it. This is not a workhorse towel. A note from Wikipedia on what makes microfiber work well:"For microfiber to be most effective as a cleaning product, especially for water-soluble soils and waxes, it should be a split microfiber. Non-split microfiber is little more than a very soft cloth."I have a number of similar towels from BBBeyond that are thick and extremely absorbent. They are great as kitchen duty towels - from drying hands and dishes to wiping down counters. The search to find their equal on Amazon continues........

These towels are great for sublimation. 365° for 60 sec...no more! I washed them 1st to remove manufacturers chemical spray, then pressed. Becareful not to overheat because they are 20% polymide which will melt at higher heat. Very happy find, made a great gift.

I have no idea what these towels will be like--they look like what I expected. HOWEVER, the package arrived within an Amazon envelope but was covered in a white powdery substance. I had to wash my hand immediately and I absolutely know it's already in my sinuses. What the heck? The package says MADE IN CHINA, but it was packed by Amazon into your envelope. This shouldn't happen.

Incredible absorbency and lack of lint make these the perfect bath towel. Just touching them to the skin dries it completely, no rubbing is necessary and even hair is dried so well that a dryer isn't needed. Will be ordering more of these soon, they are superior to any cotton terrycloth towel I've ever owned, Egyptian and Turkish included. They are not plush, but they work better and I don't intend to ever go back to old fashioned terrycloth towels again.One of the towels has some minor dye staining on one edge, the seller immediately sent out a replacement. Prompt, courteous service and an excellent product, highly recommended.

My 16 year old kitty was losing way too much weight so I started giving her a bowl of lactaid milk every day. Unfortunately she started sometimes drinking her milk like she drinks her water - by dipping her paw in and licking the milk off of it. This makes a huge mess, but if she doesn't drink her milk she gets way too skinny, and at her age she wouldn't last too long. She doesn't drink it all at once so paper towels didn't cut it for all day use. I bought these towels to put under her bowl. I fold the towel in half and the towel is absorbent enough that the milk she drips on it doesn't soak into the bottom layer. The top layer soaks it all in so my floor doesn't get any milk on it. My kitty gets her nutrition and I get a clean floor - a win win situation!

These cloths are fabulous. I use mine for cleaning glass, shower etc and they are very effective.

The image does not represent the product. Would not waste my money on these teatowels. Misrepresentation big time. Image (photo) shows product as being quite bulky and not what I expected.

Good choice, it drys well the dishes. Lightweight. The only negative is that they are a little small.

A dish towel that actually works. This one does a good job.
