Does not work for HDMI (pc) to DisplayPort (monitor)
It does not work for HDMI (pc) to DisplayPort (monitor). it is reverse of that and unidirectional.I clearly searched for what I wanted as above and Amazon shown me wrong product. The product is unidirectional, but there is no "IN OUT" clearly written on the two ports, nor an image is shown in product description specifying that clearly.And when I request return, Amazon say that it cannot be returned, it has to be replaced. I don't want replacement, there is no fault in cable, it is just not what I need. I wanted a different cable or connector. If you replace it, the other cable will also not work.It is sad state of affairs. It is not a vendor item, it is AmazonBasics, Amazon's own item and they are not taking return of it. You needn't have returned the money, but you should have used that my money to let me select and purchase other item that will fullfil my requirement.I am now stuck with a 1169 Rs purchase that I cannot make use of. That is unethical of Amazon.

Quality products with budget
I ordered it for my pc, the product quantity is satisfactory and display picture on screen is good. I am writing this review after using it for 6 months. Only thing I would like to mention before buying you should carefully analyse you requirement length.

It's amazing sorry too amazing in this price point. I saw many cables in this category but I can't able to find affordable one the I saw Amazon basics and I order thanks Amazon.

worked for 8 months, then started having issue with blank screen
Writing this review after using the peoduct for almost a year. In the begining it worked fine, but started to show issues after 8 months. My monitor display started to go blank during normal operation, initially I thought its the issue with monitor or windows, but then I changed the cable with my other monitor and all was fine. I have to replace the cable

What can I say, it just works (for now at least)It comes with plastic caps for both ends, thumbs up for that.
