its a great replacement fro the original ACpower ADAPTER
this ac power adapter is a great buy for me that is. Our one Piece Power adapter died and I need a replacement asap for the wife's laptop. The tree piece design was not my favorite at first, but after getting it here, i was shown the light. The actual ac adapter can be replaced by itself and you retain the original outlet cord and adapter to laptop plug. Also it has extra length than the one piece does because of the 3 piece design. Means you have more cord to play with to where your sitting with t he laptop. its simple to put together, ac plug in one end and the power out to laptop plug at the other end. a bit heavier than the original but who cares your plugged in..

Turned Trash Into Treasure
A friend of mine who likes to go dumpster diving from time to time found an ASUS laptop in what appeared to be pretty good condition. He pulled out, thinking that the best case scenario was that he might get a usable laptop. Worst case scenario was that if it didn’t work he could take it to be recycled since electronics shouldn’t be in a regular dumpster anyway. Biggest (visible) problem was that there was no power supply. I found this replacement on Amazon and ordered it. After using this item to charge the batteries on the laptop, he turned it on and… it works! Not only that, it seems like it had a factory reset performed on it, so it was fresh and ready to go. It’s been a few months now, and both this power supply and the laptop are still working just fine.

Waste of money
I bought this charger 6 months ago for my old laptop and it's already stopped working. Don't bother wasting your money, you may as well just light $20 on fire instead.
