This robe seemed a bit much cost wise but I was pleasantly surprised. It is actually lined so you don’t have the exposed/selvage edges in the inside… first wash took some of the stiffness out and I can tell it will become softer/ less “stiff” as it is washed more… The only down side is that it is not as lightweight as I had wanted, since I was looking for a summer robe, but it turned out to be a better robe than I expected overall so I am quite happy with it.

This robe fits large sizes (women's L, XL, and also medium to tall lean to medium build men). At last. It has a belt AND belt loops! Well made. I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know how the softness will be affected--it's a bit scratchy out of the bag, but will probably soften with washing. Because it's batik, it will have to be washed in cold water, separately. Worth it. If you live in a warmer climate (or maybe everybody, soon), this is a very good robe/ bathrobe/ dressing robe/ morning robe.

Arrived without a belt but still very beautiful. There are belt hoops so why no belt?

This batik robe was so well made and crafted. It's obvious from all the fine stitching that the seamstress or tailor knew what she/he was doing. I love it and it's all worth its price! I hope they make more patterns. Thank you.

I wear this robe every day. It makes me smile when I put it on. When I first got it I soaked it in salt water and rinsed with vinegar water to soften and set the colors. If they made them in other colors I would buy them. It's a classic design and I love the fact that it's two layers of fabric so it's light but not flimsy. It's just what I was looking for.

I'm 5'2" and this comes down to just below my knees and the sleeves come to my wrists, so that part is fine, but the back measures approximately 29" across, and each of the fronts is nearly enough to wrap around to the other side. I'm generally a size 4-6 and I like my robes big, but this is just enormous and I look absurd in it.Also, after taking the robe out of the packaging and trying it on, my hands had turned blue. Based on the description, I expected some color to come off in the wash, but I didn't expect it to come off on me (and potentially whatever I'm wearing beneath). Maybe a wash or two would take care of that, but I don't want to risk it- especially given the price- so I'll be returning this robe.This robe is absolutely beautiful, but not a good fit for smaller people.

Love this robe! Great design, generous fit and just the right weight for warmer evenings when you want your arms covered but not with anything too heavy. This is a very generous cut....I’m 5’3” and a size 12, and this wraps around me with a great overlap. Nothing skimpy at all! The cotton feels nice, not scratchy, but it’s not silky soft. I’m hoping that with more washings it will soften up a little more. I bought one for my best friend as well, and she loves hers too!

I bought this robe for my daughter who loves IKAT prints. She absolutely loves it. She's a size large and it's big on her so if you're wondering, I think it would fit up to s 2X. I read the reviews before I bought it and someone said it bled so she washed it with a stain catcher sheet in cold water. No bleeding and it still looks like new. The best thing is the pockets. Did I mention it has pockets? Oh, yes it does. The colors are lovely, the print is beautiful, and it's a lovely gift.
