I was looking for a laptop that was in a good price range ($1000 or less)
I was looking for an ultrabook for work and for writing. I used to go for Apple's products, but have been very displeased with the direction they've been heading lately. I was looking for a laptop that was in a good price range ($1000 or less), that had plenty of power for what I do (word processing, simple photo edits via photoshop, and media), and something that matched or came close to the build quality of Apple computers.Fortunately, I found it in the Razer Blade Stealth.I received this unit last night, I opened it up, and took the laptop out of its case. Pictures don't do this laptop justice. This is a very beautiful laptop in person. The powdered black aluminum feels nice and sturdy, yet light weight. The hinge feels nice and secure, yet easy enough for me to lift it open with one finger. The screen is beautiful with a resolution and quality that I'm used to after using Apple laptops. I love the full customization of the backlit keys. I kept it at a static light blue. Don't need all that flash for my needs. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. Here is a list of my cons:1. Screen Bezel. The bezel around the screen is quite big. I hope in future iterations, Razer can somehow design the screen with a smaller bezel. Minor gripe, just selfish when it comes to screen real estate. However, after using it for some time, it becomes less noticeable.2. Finger print magnet. I'm sure you've heard many folks complain about this before. It's true.3. Keyboard. I feel the response of the keyboard is a bit too quick/shallow. Definitely something to get used to after using a mechanical keyboard for so long.4. Logo. Now this is more personal preference, but the Razer logo in the back is a bit gawdy. Luckily there are plenty of skins out there to cover it.Overall, I am quite pleased with this laptop. I wasn't looking for a gaming monstrosity, or a video editing beast. I was looking for something that would become my daily driver, that wasn't made from cheap plastic. This is actually my first Razer product, and am very happy. I am excited to see what Razer will come up with next.

Works wonderfully fast, bootup is crazy fast
Works wonderfully fast, bootup is crazy fast, amazing screen it is so hard to find a 1440p laptop that isn't mega expensive, great battery life, awesome individual rgb keysThe matte finish does easily get fingerprints and smudges, bevel around the screen is large, but I think it helps it be sturdy and secureI had to rma the power suppy because it would make spark sounding sounds unplugging from the thunderbolt port and gave me a small shock when unplugging from power outlet once, but that is just random happenstanceWish it had a home key so I could return to the front of a lineTouchpad can be sensitive if you have bigger hands

Never has a product almost brought me to tears.
Let me say, as an extremely avid gamer, I have always been a huge fan of razer and their peripherals. So on vacation in the u.s, when I saw this product browsing Amazon, and having needed a laptop for a while, I ordered it that same day. Spec wise, it did every thing I wanted. I couldn't be happierLet me say when he package arrived the next day, my excitement was like that of a giddy child. Upon opening, what a beautiful product. I mean sleek like no other.Sadly that's where the good ended. Less than an hour into using it, while having only chrome open and a YouTube tutorial on, I got my first blue screen. I looked online and saw that the issue is software related, so I didn't really mind as I was leaving for home in Taiwan the next day.Upon returning, it just got worse and worse. It now blue screens every half and hour, with a different error message each time. Of course I can't refund the product since I'm no longer in the United States.I guess I should say. If $1,000 doesn't matter to you, and you want to try your luck with something sexy but that probably won't work, go for it. If on the other hand you are looking for something reliable to portably game, do not get this product, or you'll be stuck watching videos of others game on your phone, as I currently am.

Excellent Laptop for a Simple Gamer (revview 0.5)
Bought this to upgrade my PC setup by eventually getting the core to pair this laptop (12.5 7th generation core i5, 8gb ram) with my RX 480 4gb GPU. Warning have not tested with core and GPU yet see updated rating for that. So far, I am very impressed with this laptop even though it's the most basic version of the laptop it still performs fantastically. I have tested basic games such as Minecraft windows 10 edition and Runescape Old School, both play at either caped frame rates (50-60fps) or as high as possible. Everything is quick and loads fast, even better than my desktop CPU fx series chip. I was very surprised of how this laptop is, the only words I have are "Amazing." If you were worried about the bezels as much as was prior to purchasing this all I have to stay is if you aren't OCD you will not notice them. Thankfully the bezels on the laptop are glossed over just as the screen is so it is very hard to notice them in the dark. All--in-all I would definitely recommend this laptop. The only suggestion I would consider is opting for a used I7 version of this laptop off Ebay if you don't mind a used product, they seem to going for less in excellent condition. I will update this review when I have access to the Razer Core.

Mala suerte
