My First Quilting Book: 35 easy and fun sewing projects Paperback – 12 July 2012

Oh this book is really lovely. I bought it for myself as I want to start quilting, patchwork and applique but I think the books I've bought already are too advanced for me; I woud describe myself as a confident beginner at sewing. There are thirty-five projects to try (things for yourself, your room and for gifts to give) and although I may not need some of them I'm going to work through all of them to get the practice. The projects are all graded one, two or three in terms of challenge. For each project there's a complete list of everything needed to complete it and a list of the techniques involved. At the back of the book are full-sized templates and instructions for each technique. All in all, this is a fab book that I think caters to any age group interested in starting quilting, patchwork and applique. Don't let the name or the design of the book fool you into thinking it's for youngsters only.

Simply a wonderful book and I love it.Also the shipping was promt, fast and book safely and in a very nice nice condition.I do not like books ect having marks or anythng bad on them .. a new book has to be new in all ways.

I was disappointed that there were so many non-quilting projects. The title is about quilting and not just general crafts and sewing. If I wanted a craft book, I could have bought one of many.
