Very nice gloves.
I really like these gloves. They are NOT cheaply made as a couple reviewers wrote. They are well-designed and the quality is very high. They're also very comfortable.I was a little unsure about what size to order because the measurement across my knuckles is 9.5 inches which is 1/2" greater than they XX Large chart measurement. However, my fingers are spot on for the XX Large measurement. That is, my middle fingers are 3.5" long. The reason I was a bit concerned was that I like to buy leather gloves that are tight and then work them in until they fit perfectly so I considered ordering the X Large gloves. I don't like loose gloves. I treat the new gloves with a good leather conditioner (this time I used Leather Honey) and then put them on a work them in for about an hour while watching TV. By work them in, I mean I make tight fits, open and close my hand, spread my fingers and work them vigorously, etc. This softened the gloves up and made them fit almost perfectly in no time. Then I took a ride and, by the time I got back, I practially forgot that I had them on. They were that comfortable. Now, some have complained that the leather is thin and cheap. Well, it's not cheap and it's not thin but they may be comparing them to gloves used by professional racers that may have shoe-thick leather in strategic places and titanium knuckle inserts, etc. But those gloves can cost several hundred dollars. Once these gloves are softened up and broken in, you can then pinch the leather alone (without the lining) and, yes, the leather isn't thick but I have no doubt that they will provide plenty of protection for "normal" spills and crashes for street riders (maybe not crazy sports bike riders that ride at 150mph through traffic as seen on YouTube but nothing will save them in the end anyway.)The gloves have reinforcements in all the places you could expect to scrape on the ground in a crash. The major knuckle inserts aren't metal. They feel like they may be some kind of plastic with padding or perhaps some sort of rubber but, again, I think they would provide ample protection in all but the longest slides on pavement. The minor knuckles (finger joints) also have padded protectors of the same type but, oddly, the index and little fingers don't have them as you can see in the product pictures. As for size: I'm glad I ordered according to the chart. Even though my knuckle measurement is larger than the largest XX Large measurement on the chart, the fit was really good. It wasn't tight like I normally order but they felt as though they had already stretched in to fit me. They were stiff as any new leather glove of this type is but they softened up very quickly and beautifully. The only thing that didn't fit perfectly was the thumbs. But this makes no difference at all and it's not a fault of the glove. I just have shorter thumbs than most people so there's about 3/8" air space and the end of the thumb. It's not something that I notice at all when wearing the gloves, though. I just thought I'd mention it.In summary, these are very well-designed gloves of high quality that should be fine for street riding but not for professional high-speed track racing, etc.One more thing: I don't consider my hands to be really large. They're probalby a bit larger than average. I think the fact that the charts show I should order the XX Large gloves may just be that people in the country where they're made (Pakistan, I believe) may have small hands. I know people that have MUCH larger hands than mine. So if you have really big hands, you probably won't find a size in this glove that fits you. If you can squeeze them on, you should be able to stretch them to fit but you can't stretch the finger length much so if you have fingers much longer than the longest in the chart, they probably won't fit you. Otherwise, the chart seems to be accurate. If my finger measurement was a bit shorter than the XX Large in the chart, I probably would have ordered them X Large and stretched them in as I usually do but the XX Large worked out fine.

Great Craftsmanship in These Gloves!
First time I’ve ever ordered gloves…I always felt it necessary to try them on at the stealerships..So why did I order these? Two Things…1st, the sizing chart made it easy to determine what size I needed…and 2nd (and this is a HUGE 2nd !) is Indie Ridge’s “Live Free Guarantee”…The company’s owner even includes his phone number in the package if you have any issues or questions. So I bought these knowing if I had any concerns, Indie Ridge had my back!Let’s talk about the color first…these Brown gauntlets have a distressed look, and are actually a bit darker brown than what they show as listed, but, after a few hundred miles on them, I feel the soft, supple leather will break in and start to lighten (just like any other glove). Some of the nice features of the gloves include:Fingers are pre-curved to match the contour of the motorcycle grips…Hardened areas include knuckles, ring and middle finger joints.Scuff padding in the meaty and lower parts of the palmTouchscreen pads on both gloves (and they actually work!!)The fit was just right for me (just use their chart…if in doubt, I suggest go up a size). Right out of the box they felt a bit snug, but after several rides, they and are now ohhhh so comfortable! They are gauntlets, but they are not advertised as, nor are they, winter riding gloves,…I’ve tested them out in 32degF weather and my fingers did feel the cold, but I also found they’re great above 50degF!I usually don’t talk about packaging, but hey, I need to here…they came in the coolest canvas bag with a drawstring! My gloves won’t be going back in it (usually they’re just laying on my gas tank after a ride) but wife already ideas on what she’s gonna use it for HAHA.So to summarize, these are the nicest pair of genuine leather gloves I’ve owned, and if and when I ever wear these out, I’ll be looking into purchasing another pair from Indie Ridge.

Have to talk up these gloves
I normally don't write up products but these gloves are Excellent!! They just weren't delivered in a box.... Gloves were shipped in parchment paper, then in a velvet type bag, and the packed in a plastic Zip bag. But the gloves themselves are of ultra high quality, soft leather, thick enough to be protective, knuckle protection, nice gauntlet style, and great color for my Vintage Indian Motorcycle, and a perfect fit. I measured my hand per the instructions, et voilà....perfect. Cost a little less than the riding gloves that Indian Motorcycle makes and the quality of these just blows the OEM ones away. A great product and at a great price. 👍 👍👍👍👍

Amazing glove for riders!!!Weatherproof
Amazing gloves!!! For true riders.... the first pair I ordered, the finger tips were about a cm too long. Emailed the company, they sent a perfect fitting replacement pair (in black, but I don't mind) no hassle, no return gloves first to get your replacement. Great quality leather, waterproof, wind proof yet breathable. I only gave it 4 stars because of the 1st set of gloves not being a perfect fit, yet same size as replacement pair, and the touch screen sensor should just be at the tip of the glove, not @ the fingerprint pad.

Comfort and quality at a good price
Just what the Doctor ordered. Excellent fit and quality materials. This company knows what motorcyclists need. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a comfortable quality riding glove. You won't be disappointed. I am probably going to order a second pair in black so I can match my black riding gear.

Wish I found Indie Ridge twenty years ago, you won't regret this purchase!
I had never heard of Indie Ridge and was skeptical but optimistic about placing my order. Am very happy the size chart is included as I'm generally in an XL glove, but the XXL fits perfectly. The quality of material used, stitching, fit, comfort, ease of use with respect to the touch screen finger tips have all exceeded my expectations. I've only put about 230km on with them so far, and couldn't be happier with them.Though it is a gauntlet style glove, my idea of 'full gauntlet' would come another couple inches up the arm. Having said that, the pocket this gauntlet provides is just enough to get a clean tuck of the cuff provided you don't have a massive sleeve. All this is clearly shown in the pictures with relation to the wrist elastic that doesn't hold too tight either.Wish I found these gloves twenty years ago! I've been breaking to friends about them already and would certainly recommend to anyone. Even got a personal response from the owner when emailing in to register for warranty which is amazing!

Best gloves for money
These gloves have everything I'm looking for: style, additional padding on the wrists and palm, hard knuckle protection, touch fingers. And for the price, it can't be beat. The gloves a a darker shade of brown than pictured, but they fade very quickly after you start using them, which brings them in line with the pictures, but with a very intricate "worn-in" look. I really like that.Use the sizing chart. I ended up picking XL since I fell pretty much right in between L and XL, and the gloves are a hair too big, just as I expected.Biggest thing to take into account is that when new, the leather is very slippery, which reduces control. As with every other leather, I expect it will get a lot more grippy/supple as it gets worn in.
