Flawless ! So far the best 👍
I ordered the chyavanprash considering authentic as AVS is since 1902 and reviews that its less sweet, bitter or may be not a good taste for some...but..it has a taste very close to or may be better than what I imagined a true chyavanprash. Especially ghee lovers would find a peculiar flavour.. no nonsense spices and sugar like the commercial ones. It enhances all the taste buds on your tongue. Gratitude and regards to Arya Vaidya Sala 🙏* Few ignorant customers have mentioned that there's no amla in ingredient list.. Dhatriphala is nothing but Amla.

Chyavanprash Lovers...Behold!
If you're a Chyavanprash freak (because you know there's nothing like a big spoon of chyavanprash that boosts your health factor) then , this Chyavanprash will blow your mind, to an extent your pocket and your taste buds. I'll tell you why.For majority of Indians, the brand Dabur is quite synonymous with Chyavan. Next came in line Patanjali (It's natural to try that one because ..well , you know ..Baba Ramdev) I tried Patanjali a couple of times and somehow switched back to Dabur. My last experience with Dabur was quite goopy because I realized the Chyavan was too semi-solid or shall I say leaning towards semi liquid. When you are a Dabur user for years you become quite aware of the viscosity of the Chyavan and as per my last experience it was too flowy. So, since there is nothing like - 'I -searched-something-on-Amazon-and didn't-find-it' phenomena , I landed on this brand. The reviews were quite boasty so naturally I ordered. Now the real deal. It'll blow your mind because - This is unlike any Chyavanprash you've ever tried. The consistency is quite thick. and you'll definitely become more aware of the 'Chyavanprash is an ayurvedic medicine' factor. Like totally! Not kidding. This will make you develop more trust in this particular brand and also make you feel like a fool for emptying containers after containers of Dabur. Conclusion - Bye bye Dabur! It'll hurt your pocket a bit because I purchased it at a price of INR 197 and paid a total of INR 257. You know the shipping fees and jazz! The MRP of the product is INR 205 for a 500 gms container. Now, just for a sake of comparison, Dabur sells a 1kg container at INR 310 and gives you Honey free. (Totally irrelevant...I know). My point is that if i'm going to continue ordering this then i'd rather have this product listed under Amazon Prime (for free shipping) and then I don't mind paying by the MRP. ***SELLER TAKE NOTE*** . There is no point telling the customer that 'hey we're selling you this product at a reduced price but wait...we charge high shipping!) That's a bit of a downer. On the other hand some of us do not compromise with health. Finally, it'll blow your taste buds because this preparation is a tongue shocker! In sense that it is not the sweet chayavanprash you've been having for ages! Nope...NO...NO...NAH! The first two ingredients of this preparation are - Matsyandika - which is a sugarcane juice concentrate, and Madhu - Honey!(A standing ovation for steering clear of refined sugar!) Followed by Ghee and other Jadi-booties for your awesome health. But...OMG it doesnt make it sweeter. I've always had really sweet Chyavans...all my life. I'm not complaining because the first couple of ingredients always make up the base for the prep. It took my tongue some time to consciously accept the taste and then my mind told me...'if it tastes like this then it must be really good' LOL.Since it's quite thick, it doesn't come off the spoon so easily and be prepared because its gonna get stuck on the roof of your mouth. So i'll advise to be patient.Chyavanprash is an AYURVEDIC MEDICINE...NOT A JAM! I remind myself, eachtime I take mine! Eventually the taste will grow on your because it takes a while to de-programme the taste of the Dabur and all.***Please Note*** I don't dislike Dabur...after all, I've grown up gobbling down jars of that brand.I'm just saying, when you try this brand, you'll know you've matured and cannot go BACK!The jar packing is quite basic but sturdy. It's manufactured in Kerela. It reads 'Chyavanaprasam' in English and a translation in local language.GOD! I can't help but trust it more!

Product seems off
1. Consistency seems off: Too sticky & gooey than Ideal (Ideal: Neither too sticky & flowy, Nor too thick & non-sticky)2. Off Taste: Bitter mainly, with slight spicy & sweetness. Ideal taste: Spicy & Hot with prominent Sourness & with some sweetness. But with this, Bitterness is most prominent (No idea why)3. They used plastic container. Again not good, these mixtures are best stored in glass bottle to prevent leeching.- Apart from all this, I liked their ingredient list, it's clear & transparent. Good ingredients in decent proportion were used & the company has a good reputation, so I ordered it but probably won't stick with it.

Good things come at a price.
Simply love the taste, you know its good quality once you taste it. The first day you may not like it as much since its not sugary, but from next day you relish it. Good things come at a price amd this one costs almost double when shipping is added. But would prefer this over the other popular "Brand" ones.
