I use this in combination with an impulse sealer and a normal hair dryer. It shrinks exactly as you expect and the finish is nice and smooth. The hair dryer may be a bit slower than a heat gun but you also don't melt through the plastic.I've found the trick is to cut a little hole in a corner before applying heat. This way the air has somewhere to escape through instead of ripping a seam.

ordered twice within a few weeks. first box was great, second order was packaged diffently and was not as thick and many bags tear or melt through when shrinking. if i received these the first time i would NOT have ordered them again!

Works as expected, no problems but I will probably go heavier next time. For small items I cut off the excess before shrinking, otherwise it leaves a messy end. If the trim is big enough I save it and use later, having both ends open before shrinking is not a problem.

I have found shrink bags in the past to get holes in them when you shrink them. I only had that problem one time and that was because I did not get a good seal with my sealer. These bags worked great.

Great product. It is the easiest way to shrink wrap for books.
