Sierra Coil Mercruiser 3.0LX EST Ignition
I expected delivery on a Tuesday, after the weekend, received it Friday night and out on the boat. Its a Sierra part, fit on exactly like OEM, no issues. My coil started acting up so bought a new one, it was old... Sierra parts have a lifetime warranty. Mercruiser parts are great and if your under warranty sure but after that save yourself the 50% mark-up.One minor complaint, the bracket rivets were bucked, but had a minor wiggle. It will work fine I just took my bar and tightened them up a little more. It may be an issue for some, not for me saving this much money delivered. Don't get me wrong the Mercruiser part lasted 17 years, but then again it was made in a different era when every part on my boat was made in the USA, not anymore....

Works
I installed it on a 246 Shamrock boat with 5.7 engine. Original unit that a marina wanted was way too expensive so I removed the brackets from the old coil and installed on the new coil. I have been running this coil for a month and works great.

It also fits the Indmar 340
Perfect replacement for my coil in my Supra 2005 SSV. This engine was not listed but it's a perfect replacement. My engine is the Indmar 340 catless V8.
