I bought a set (6) of these from the Amazon Warehouse Deals, after seeing a set of these sold at Costco (usually Costco will not sell anything that is low quality). I am very impressed with the quality of these glasses when compared with the ones I have purchased in the past (that break and stain in dishwasher easily). These glasses are high tech and have overcome most of the problems in older generation of glasses.POSITIVES:1. They are made of *very* clear glass that looks very nice.2. It is *quite* thin at the rim, but quite resistant to breakage. The son.hyx technology seem to work.3. They do not get white marks in the dishwasher- a BIG plus.4. They provide 25 years warranty on chips on the rim or the base- totally unheard of in this product class.5. There customer service is *excellent*. For an issue with one of the glasses I bought from Costco, they issued a replacement immediately. You just need to attach a picture of the defective product with purchase details.6. NOT Made in China.NEGATIVES:1. A bit on the pricey side, but I bought them all from Warehouse deals or from Costco. WIth the kind of warranty and CS they provide, it may be worth it.2. I am not sure of I want to use these classes for 25 years (-:)).I have bought three more sets of glasses from this manufacturer to replace our aging glasses, and am very happy with the decision. I will highly recommend these glasses if you are willing to pay extra for the quality and durability of higher quality product.

Exactly what I wanted

I ordered to match what already had and was running low, they are glass and they do break but I don’t find them extremely delicate like some comments made them sound. They arrived in perfect shape packed carefully and delivered carefully. They are square so easy to store, I love the design!

I looked everywhere for square drink glasses and then found these. Reading reviews I was a bit nervous about their durability and shipping conditions. Happy to report that they arrived in perfect condition and have been washed in the dishwasher many times with no cracking. I no longer feel like they have to be handled with kid gloves and can relax and enjoy.

I love these glasses and have found they are perfect. They hold up well over time and are easy to hold.I am very happy with this product.

These are 'square'; any engineer sees them as more efficient in holding larger liquid volumes in a given space. Not to mention requiring less cabinet shelf space for a given number of tumblers.They do tend to chip at the top rim when there seems to have been no physical contact.I'll admit a romantic attachment: Wife and I first encountered them in the bar of a wonderful hotel in Milhouse, France on an extended driving tour of middle Europe.

The first thing I noticed about these glasses was that its walls were not as thin as others. Although not meant to survive drops, it will most likely be able to survive spillovers and dishwashers.The second thing I have noticed was this glass is shaped like a rounded square. The pictures from Amazon makes this less than clear.Lastly, this glass doesn't hold too much liquid. It is large enough to hold all the contents of a single soda can (to the brim).Overall, I am glad I bought these and ordered an another set.Pros:1)Sturdy. Its walls are thicker than most glasses this size.2)Elegant looking. It is round square which adds a touch of modernity.Cons:1)It holds less liquid than it appears. It is barely large enough to hold all the contents of a single soda can (no ice).

They are a bit too narrow otherwise excellent quality.
