if you have a top mounting toto seat (on fully skirted models), you need a separate set of bolts. The seat comes with bolts that are only good if you have access to thread a nut on the other end. If you are buying this seat for a new toilet, the toilet will come with the bolts, but if you are replacing, you will want new bolts. Besides that, it is a toto seat that works with a toto toilet, you dont really have much choice with which one to buy if you have a Toto. Not easy to clean, and a bit flimsy.

I had no problem with the installation. The slow close feature works great.

Had to replace the same seat cover after about five years as the plastic started bubbling and breaking down. Replacing it wasn't the worst experience, but wasn't the best. I can't imagine how anyone with large hands can do it. The hole on the underside of my particular Toto toilet (Toto Aquia II Elongated Two Piece Toilet) is SUPER small. My small hands could barely get in there to secure the bolt. You will need a flathead screwdriver to tighten the bolt, and possibly flip up the bolt cover to remove the seat you're replacing.

Replaced our yellowing toilet seat (Toto Carlyle) - fit perfectly and easy to install. I was expecting poorer quality for the price and am happily surprised. Will definitely buy again to replace the other ones in our home.

Great seat. Difficult to install
