Mooncake is a special pastry traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autum Moon Festival (someday on September or October depends on the Chinese lunar calendar Schedule). We only sell the freshest mooncakes in certain period each year. The expiration date is also can find on the packages. They are very fresh, and the expiration date is shorter, so please finish them when they are still fresh.

Good selection of Moon Cakes. Helps if you’re Chinese.
I liked the variety.Moon cakes are smaller than another brand I ordered twice: and previously reviewed. At $30, this brand is pricey! Oh yeah, if you don’t read traditional, long form Chinese characters, as I no longer can, you are on your about guessing which cake is what of the four kinds. Fortunately I was able to recognize each as a person of Chinese descent who grew up with the Holiday in Hong Kong. May not appeal to those trying them for the first time!

Spend a little more and get better moon cakes. .
I love black sesame, and I like moon cakes, but I will not buy this again. It's almost $10 for one cake. In hindsight, I could have spent $20 and got three more cakes of the same size in a metal tin, had I bought a different brand. In any case, the cake was okay. The filling was mildly nutty from the black sesame and walnuts, and it was quite sweet. Most moon cakes are extremely sweet, making them all the better to drink a bitter tea with as you eat your piece. The outside shell was not stale, though it left much to be desired. In other words, the dough was flavorless and perhaps a little too oily, even by moon cake standards. It was also faintly squished due to the fact that the flimsy box was not well packed, which leads me to my biggest gripe.Again, this is one cake that comes in a tiny cardboard box. If it is not packed well, your cake might arrive crushed. Thankfully, my moon cake survived shipping mostly unscathed, but the box clearly didn't. I'm so glad I got this as a festive treat for myself and my kids, and that I wasn't giving this as a gift to a relative or friend. :-/

October 5th Fruits & Green Tea Mooncakes
The flavor was very good. The texture was a little chewy, not the same as a regular mooncake. and is not as sweet. It's a good alternative if you want a different flavor and texture.

I really like these. The cake is delicious and the filling is good too! I wish I could get just green tea!

Sugary taste
As some of the reviews have mentioned, the cakes are much smaller and pricey. If you have tasted authentic moon cakes, you will be very disappointed. They are just sugary tastes. The strawberry moon cake tastes nothing like strawberry flavor. All of them taste similar with only a tinge of the flavor for the said fruit or tea. The after taste is just sugar. Don't recommend it.
