I left my charger at a rental house and needed a replacement for my Acer Aspire 5 - A515-45. This charger has the correct voltage output, but a higher amperage output (original charger had 2.37a output and this has 3.42). My research indicated that the computer would only take the amperage it needs, even if more was available, so long as the voltage was correct. The charger worked great and did not overheat my computer. The connecter fit exactly. The price and speed of delivery were key parts of my purchasing decision from this vendor. The charger came with a handy Velcro cord wrapper to keep the cords tidy when packing up.

I bought this for my acer aspire A515-55 series and the fit is loose. So you can't really move around to much with it or it will come out of the port. I was really hoping that it would be perfect. I'm going to be returning this unfortunately

My laptop charger bit the dust. I ordered this one to get my laptop back up and running. It works great but the plug is a tiny bit too small, so it falls out. I tape in on and that helps. Other than that it works perfectly for my Acer A515-54

*UPDATE* I am stoked to report that I was able to work with this company to get the charger warrantied. I received a new charger in the mail about a week later and it has since held up well. Great customer service with timely responses.It has been only a short 6 months and unfortunately this charger is kicking the bucket... Honestly it has me worried about how it may have affected my laptop too. It has seemed to charge normally up until this point. Now, the charger overheats quickly in the charging block AND the mechanism that connects to the computer itself. It will start and stop charging and is hot to the touch. I am worried about it ruining the internal components of my computer! Just be weary I would advise... I might try to warranty it!
