wow
These have been in gale force winds for a week and have not budged! They have a little bend in the wire insert that enables landscape stapling and THAT has worked really well.

Great while it lasted
I really liked this, it covered my plants in rows well, protected them from cold and Friday pretty well.. The ends can flap in and out which was annoying; Any plants near the ends would be beaten if it's windy. There's not anyway to secure the edges down to keep cold seeping underneath a wellThis year when I put it out I noticed several holes so it's definitely not going to last; I bought it one year ago. So, I'll be cutting off the old stuff and see if I can find another garden fabric to sew onto the hoops, and I'll extend the fabric at the bottom as well to make a more secure fit so air can't deep underneath. In the future I'll just buy hoops and make my own.. BUT, the shade netting hoops seems to be holding up well and I love those from this same company.

Me & My Plants are Happy :)
As others have said, this is a good product. Nicely packaged (that can be re-used for storage) fabric, wire hoops and drawstring closure are all sturdy, seams well sewn etc. It would be hard to buy the fabric and the hoops for the $20 ish price. (unless maybe you bought the wire and bent it into the unique shape yourself) The only downside for me is that I wish the material were just a little bit wider so that it came down further on the sides. It does reach to the ground but in my situation, the brutal wind here easily gets under the sides and there's not much material available to be able to anchor them. (If you have softer soil you may be able to sink the hoops a little deeper than I can therefore maybe have some material to anchor.) It has stayed in place just fine; no problem there but I would like to protect my plants from the wind a little better. The "fleece" material is more substantial than it looks in the picture and is comparable to "N-Sulate" or other deluxe or supreme grade plant protection fabric - 1.5 oz - of which I have a roll of. So I'm going to try to make another cover a few inches wider and see if that helps. I was planning on making a back-up for whenever this one wears out anyway. For those who mentioned removing and replacing their tunnel each day, I just push the material all down to one side when the weather is nice enough and/or I want my plants to get some rain. This is one of the reasons I like this construction. Since the smoothly finished hoops go through (wide) sewn tunnels in the material vs draping material over hoops etc., it makes it very easy to slide the material on the hoops w/everything intact and have your cover open or closed as needed. Another nice thing, if you only wanted to cover a few plants or need less than the full length, is that you could easily take out a hoop or two and make it shorter. Btw, this type of fabric is breathable and rain/snow will wet and probably eventually penetrate this fabric but not near as much as lighter weight plant protection fabrics. Often, moisture will mostly bead up, lay on top of this. This is actually preferable to me in many winter type instances; you don't want your plants getting wet and then having to endure freezing temperatures. Just fyi to apply to your particular usage. If anyone is wondering about dimensions: (since I took it all apart and measured) The size of the finished fabric, laid out flat, is 46" wide x 150" long. There's approx. 23.5" between each of the 6 hoops/their seamed enclosures. Then about 16" of material after each end hoop to the drawstring. The nicely-shaped, heavy gauge wires measure about 58" in total length. Once inserted in the ground and depending on how wide or narrow you spread the the hoops, you have a tunnel covering at least 18-20" high x 18-20" wide and about 10ft long - maybe a little longer if you can utilize the drawstring end sections. I have it spread about a 2 ft wide. I think you could go to at least 30" wide but of course then your height would be lowered a little - to maybe 15"? (Just a guess; you'll have to call in a mathematician or try it yourself to know for sure.) Still high enough for many crops. Also, wanted to pass on that I have found these "Re-Pins" http://www.amazon.com/DeWitt-Company-Re-Pins-Red-Count/dp/B004SI6FG8/ref=sr_1_1?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1416641051&sr=1-1&keywords=re-pins to be an excellent product for non-permanent anchoring of frost and shade fabric, plastic etc. After endlessly trying to hammer in various metal ones into my hard, rocky ground (and them often bending) for whatever reason (maybe the shape/design?) I can get usually hand push these plastic Re-pins in and they stay in! They're reusable, easy to see and remove and have held up well. You can find them in packs of 10 or 25 if you search around. Right now, it seems that only a 300 pack is available here on Amazon but I posted the link so you have the exact name and can see what they look like. Hopefully maybe they'll carry smaller quantities here in the future.Hope that helps. Happy Gardening!

These are perfect
I bought 4 of these, they arrived two days ago before we dipped into the freezing teens in GA. After setting these up in our garden I immediately bought 10 more. I wish I could describe how simple and perfect these tunnels are......absolutely the best!

We shall see!
This year, for the first time we decided to grow some chard and our local insects decided that it was absolutely delicious. The plants were growing well and a fair size, when suddenly lots of nibbled holes appeared in the leaves. Spraying the plants with bug zapper was rather like shutting the stable door after the horse (or insect) has bolted. So we now have this fleece tunnel around the chard plants and I will definitely report back on what happens next. The tunnel has metal hoops stitched in place and these are simply stuck into the ground. We didn’t need the full length of the tunnel, but rather like a concertina it can be erected to any length from the full 3m to however long you need less than 3m. The drawstrings at the end mystified us somewhat, so we just used a handy rock to close the ends. Now we will see if the chard survives without being nibbled.UPDATE: After several weeks I can indeed verify that safe inside the fleece tunnel our chard and beetroot plants are entirely un-nibbled by any insects or other pests, wahoooooo.

Sturdy Frame With Flexible, Stretchy Netting - 5 Star Product
I purchased the smaller version of this Easy Net Tunnel and was so impressed with it, I went straight back on line and purchased another the same size, and this larger version, too. This larger size is perfect for growing cabbages, as the width and height will allow for growth. I like the ease in which it goes into place, and the fact that you can water through the netting without having to remove it each day. Endorsed by Pippa Greenwood of Gardeners World fame, I don't know why it took me so long to purchase these for my veg garden ! Comes packed-flat in a Velcro-sealed poly bag, so in winter I'll store this in my greenhouse, ready for use for the following year. 5-Star product. Update:- Once opened, I found that the end of the tunnel netting was split but will keep and repair myself as the tunnel is needed for use this week.

Sturdy but dark
This is large and solidly made, with sturdy green mesh (almost like camouflage webbing) and thick wire supports, with drawstrings at the ends. However I was concerned that the tunnel cut out a lot of light from the plants underneath compared to standard netting - this is aimed at keeping larger pests at bay, such as butterflies and birds, but it's so dark inside the tunnel, growth will surely suffer somewhat (and air circulation may be an issue too). Additionally the fabric this is made from is quite heavy and can drape on the plants underneath, potentially distorting growth/allowing pests to access outer leaves. Ultimately I prefer the fine mesh version from the same producer but this may suit in sunnier areas or if you want to create a cooler microclimate (say for growing lettuces in midsummer).

Really great tunnel, held up in storm Doris and has kept all the cats off of my crops! The design is great as it allows water through but kept the snow out! Easy to apply frost fleece over too. This help up better than my frame self-assemble one which kept coming apart in the wind; a solid one seems better, I just wish there were bigger sizes!

Excellent versatile tunnel
Well constructed and versatile. Easy to put in and easy to access the plants underneath. We get quite strong winds here and the tunnel stayed put where other designs have suffered in the past. Protects the plants well and we're hoping to utilize it as a base for some fleece to over winter plants in the ground. All in all a very good purchase and good value for money.
