OK - when it works
There is something unusual about this stapler, it looks "industrial", has a good solid action and feels good in the hand (fnarr). Unfortunately - to continue the dubious double entendre - I seem to be shooting blanks 70% or more of the time. I've tried the staples it came with and two other type 53 staples, the result is the same in all of them... 2 out of every 3 "punches" results in no staple (this is stapling thin canvas and paper to very soft wood.) Sometimes the next "punch" will work but often even firing 20 staples against no resistance (ie, in the air) results in nothing leaving the stapler. I have to either take out the spring-loader and reinsert it, or worse, take out the staples and start from scratch. The spring-loader feels fine. When the stapler does next decide to work, it fires out a normal staple, ie the stapler is not destroying staples and then mysteriously eating them.Evidently I am doing something wrong.

Not good.
Kept breaking. Kept getting jammed. Would not recommend. Ended up buying another one. Really useless and a waste of money.

Works but cheap material used
Does the job, but something broke on the first staple I put in a piece of hardboard inside and I rattled it out. No dramas as it still works but have no idea what it was for as it was cast metal

Chews 'em, jams on 'em; click after click until you get lucky!
Just skipped one of these. Never again! I now plan to go to the local tool shop to ask them to demo the next staple gun I'll buy.How can something that looks it is built like the proverbial tank, can't fire staples when you need it to? Don't get me wrong - no problem here with the odd misfire, but for Heaven's sake, this gun can't do the business with *any* size or brand of staples.Squashed staples in abundance sir? Oh, yes please! Chewed staples jamming the gun every other try, sir? Oh lovely! Would you like more half-cocked staples not only jamming the stapler but poking a sharp bit of wire out for you to gash your hand on, sir? Yes, yes yes, more of that, thank-you.But what this staple gun excels in is this: after clicking away with nothing but fresh air coming out, it then surprises you by delivering a real staple! But by then your concentration has gone and it is your thumb - not the canvas - that is attached to your work.Spent more time prising bent staples from my frame it now looks like it's got woodworm.Yes, my friends, I've played with the tension, have tried the heavy duty staples, tried all the cheapies, tried various different sizes - no change. Gone back to painting on boards again, until I can sort out a stapler that does what it's meant to do: put staples into soft pine.Er...what day is it?Thanks and best regards to all.

It’s ok, but does jam up.
It’s ok for the price, but it does jam up quite often, I bought it so I could put displays up at work.

Bonne agrafeuse
l'agrafeuse a l'air très solide (pas de plastique) et correspond à mes attentes (petit bricolage) pour un prix très raisonnable.
