Overall - 3/5Reason - Because of the intricate pattern, the punch may sometime not make a very clean cut and cause the snowflake to get stuck inside, or crumple the paper when it punches.Packing - 5/5It comes in EK's standard clear plastic packaging which will deliver the product intact to you. It also has a neat locking mechanism thats just perfect for stacking and storing, especially if you have a large number of punches to store.Quality - 3.5/5The punch occasionally had its bad days when it wont punch cleanly through the paper. Im guessing its because of the intricate pattern, so make allowance for wastage when you punch.Try to avoid very thin/ tissue-like paper. I've had the best results with 180-280 gsm paper (in the range of an Archie's greeting card), which should work well for crafters. If you plan on using this for bulk punching, it might not deliver fully, I would recommend getting two of them and alternating between them. The yellow lock at the backside is also a little delicate (this issue is seen across EKTools punches,not specific to this one only) so it has a tendency of popping out once in a while. Mine has already broken, but the punch is fine, so I guess I will have to live with the no-locking situation. This might be a little problematic for people with a large punch collection, like myself, because storage becomes cumbersome, but again, it wont affect your performance.It does make beautiful snowflakes when it works well, and if you are desperate for a snowflake punch, go for it. But, if you have someone coming in from the states, buy the martha steward snowflake punch off amazom.com , it has better performance and about the same cost !Pls rate this review if you found it helpful as it really encourages me to write more of these ! :D

Le doy cinco estrellas porque la verdad que cortan figuras hermosas y veo mil posibilidades, hay muchos tipos de cartulinas y mil proyectos que se podrían hacer. Lo único malo es que no le entra el grosor del fomy pero bueno, supongo que no están hechas para eso.

Fabulous punch EK are the best on the market, I am using this for Christmas cards, cuts cleanly and easily. Don't hesitate to buy one they are well worth the money. I have several EK punches.
