This product was used as an update on my towable backhoe which is 25 years old. The product was exact fit to my existing pipe fittings and install was a breeze. Now I can purchase a replacement filter with confidence. It also improved my machines performance.

Worked perfect.
Couldn't get an original hydraulic filter for my Chinese log splitter. So fitted this. Using 10w hydraulic oil. Works great and will be a lot easier to get a filter at the next oil change.

This product will save you a lot of problems when times show somes sign of problems when you think your oil doesn't need to be filtered.François

Does not have threaded ports for pressure gauge/temp sensor
At this price point the head should have the threaded ports for a pressure gauge and temperature sensor. Now im going to have to source a tap and die kit.

Good Donaldson quality. Shipped quick. Use it on a log splitter with 10wt hyd oil. Handled oil volume easily.

I used this on top of a 55 gallon barrel to filter all my used motor oil for later burning and it works just fine. It is a little slow for gravity feed but that is ok for me because the filtration is so fine
