Expensive? Yes, Worth every penny? YES! It is solid, comfortable, holds my thin and fine hair, does not squeeze my head and ..I WEAR REGULAR GLASSES! This does not interfere with them at all. I will guard this thing with my life. I...am....IMPRESSED! Secure and comfortable...sounds like a review for a bra and not a headband! hahaha.

I bought this over a year ago and impact to buy another one today. I have bought so many square headbands over the past year just trying different ones and to see what works. This one is definitely worth the extra money. First of all, I wear it all the time and the hinge is still not worn out. Despite being in my purse when not on my head, it is still intact and has not broken. Second, It fits most naturally and looks really good in my hair whether it’s really clean or really dirty. Third, the headband still looks new. Nothing has shipped or peeled or anything that you find with so many hair accessories if you use product like me. And it has never caused me hair headache.

I think the paisley is very pretty and would buy lots more colors if they weren't so expensive. $22+ is a lot to pay for one plastic headband, but I get that it's unique. It does feel a little large but that's because it's not perfectly round. I find it much more comfortable to wear backwards, so the plastic earpieces don't dig into the backs of my ears.I'd probably give five stars if they cut the price.

Online, this headbands looked like a great buy. But I found this headbands to be heavy and did not fit the shape of my head.

To my surprise, this works in my medium length, somewhat thin hair. The inch-wide band has little teeth that control the hair but don’t hurt, and the flexible side arms don’t pinch. I wear it with both hearing aids and glasses - it sits slightly further back on my head than usual, but stays in place and is comfortable. Expensive for a hair band, but in my case worth it - it is the only one that I can tolerate for many hours.

I have a small head and yes, this is kindof tight on me too, as other reviewers have described. They don't really have the same shape as sunglasses on your head - the top of this headband is much more rounded than sunglasses are (see pic), so if you are looking for a headband that gives your hair the same look as if you have sunglasses on your head, these aren't it. They're expensive for what they are and I don't understand why they're hinged if the dang top of it is curved like any other headband. The hinges just grab your hair and pull. Only pros I can see is that they seem sturdy and the tortoiseshell color is nice.

Most headbands are only comfortable for an hour or so, but this one is so much better. I barely notice that I have it on. It’s a thick plastic, and folds like a pair of glasses. I think it’s quite pricey, but I use it a lot, and like it very much.

It doesn't bind or grab hair. It does fit squarely, like pushed up glasses. It folds. The plastic is thick. the stems are padded so it doesn't bind behind the ears. It fits a medium head, not a large or small one.
