This has been the wettest weather we've had in Southwest Florida in the past 30 years. Add to that the tons of rain we received as collateral damage from Hurricane Harvey and the water has no place to go. And of course there is a new development across the street that somehow was approved to fill in acres of wetlands. The combination of these two factors has resulted in rats and mice losing their natural habitats. So when they had to relocate and find a new place to live, what better place than in our home?We went through this same situation earlier this year when our rainy season started. This time however I caught 19 river rats on successive nights close to the walls of our home. The rats are too smart for standard Victor traps so I live trapped them and let them go a few miles away. In the meantime my wife was noticing scratching in the walls at night and was concerned that they might once again be nesting in our attic. So I tried again with the Victor traps, catch and release traps, and sticky paper. No luck at all!All the signs were there including a few rats that had died and been dehydrated in our 110 degree attic. I told my wife what I intended to do and while she wasn't happy with it, she knew that it had to be done. I broke up several of these Just One Bite pellets into four pieces and placed them in the high traffic areas indicated by the mouse and rat poop. The problem of course was that once they ate the poison they would find a dark place to curl up and die. I am very uncomfortable killing anything at my age but given the alternative of letting them live in the attic and chew up our air conditioning lines, the attic insulation, and the various cables strewn through the attic, I chose to eliminate the problem.And then there is the bigger problem. The mice and rats were going to die in the attic and we were going to be subjected to a terrible smell until the heat caused them to dessicate. I expected that it would take 3-5 days for them to die and another 3-5 days for them to decay and dry up. What I didn't anticipate was that they would all die after different time periods, probably based on the size of the rat/mouse and the amount of poison ingested. So it took about a week for all of them to give up the ghost. Hated to do it for a number of reasons but the alternative was to incur thousands of dollars worth of damage to our home. This product works perfectly.

I have used this for years and it works every time!! The packets are easy to put it out and keep out of reach of kids and pets!

Ease of use and it covers my whole house

I haven't found anything that works better for getting rid of mice and rats

Did not work at all. Hadtodispose of the whole thing.
