Sesame Street - Sing, Hoot & Howl with the Sesame Street Animals [VHS]

This was one of my son's and my favorite when he was a toddler in the days of VHS. This is the only one program I've been able to find, in total, on DVD. I ordered it because I look forward to hearing the same delighted giggles of my grandchildren when they see it. As well as having it around for my own impending second childhood.

My grandchildren listened to this video when they were small and loved it. It was played over and over in our house when they visited and stayed overnight. I was relieved to find it in a DVD since we had only the VHS version and no longer had a player. It's a treasure.

The little one I care for had this dvd and I fell in love with it, so much so I bought one for myself and several to give as gifts. The dvd consists of many old routines and it is so much fun trying to remember the name of the performers. Some come right to mind but some have changed quite a bit so it takes a sec or two to recognize them. The songs are catchy and you just may find yourself humming them later on. OH! My little one liked it, too!!

It might be because my oldest daughter loved this video in the late 1990's that I never noticed the bad quality of some of the videos on this dvd. Some of them are very old and my toddler (my now 3-yr-old) would lose interest for most of it. My oldest daughter loved it, though, around the same age, but she loved Sesame Street. My son isn't too much into SS.I think whether a child likes this dvd depends a lot on the child.I still love the MOO-MOO MAMBA song, though!!! : )

Grandson loved this as a toddler, His grandfather, which is deceased, and i listened to it 8 or 10 times per day with him, he is now 20 and I found this in the CD, he loved it and I hope he passes to his kids. The music is great.

I bought this DVD (which is GREAT for small children - mine loved it when they were growing up). It appeared to be new and was packaged like a new DVD. I was waiting to share with my grandchildren. Finally did yesterday and the DVD was unplayable with constant skipping. I looked at it more closely and saw fingerprints all over and scratches. throughout. I contacted the seller HPB Movies to ask for a return which was rejected bc it has been more than 90 days.I have now bought digital version on Apple+ and will forget about the DVD (although I’m angry about the misrepresentation).

VERY cute movie for children - LOVE it! My daughter had this on VHS when a child herself and when I saw online in DVD....had to purchase and had shipped direct to my daughter for her children! Thank you! ;o)

My son has watched this dvd since he was a few months old. It has some of the oldy, but goldy songs from sesame street past. The songs and images are great because they use a variety of real images in daily life as well as the animals and big bird. My husband even commends this dvd as the songs are the kind that you just want to hum. GREAT PURCHASE!

This is my son's favourite show. (My son is almost 2 yrs old) He laughs and laughs, enjoying the songs and the animals. We (the parents) love it too, actually. Some kids shows are painful to watch, but this one is a treat. We all especially love the "I'm a Working Dog" song/video even though it looks like must be from 20 or 30 years ago. Sesame Street is almost always a good bet and we have many Sesame Street dvds, but we love this one even more than the others.

Played the first segment and then stopped, cannot get it to play anything at all now. Definitely not as advertised.
