Velrose Cotton Batiste Full Slip Style # 4534

I wasn't sure what Velrose Cotton Batiste meant. I was just looking for a cotton slip. Having received it quickly and well packaged, I tried it on and was well pleased with the fit.. I was not expecting it to be as wrinkled after washing and drying it. I pressed it and wrinkles were gone. It is cool and comfortable. I told of my find to a couple of friends at church and they are excited to know about attractive cotton undergarments also. By the way, an added benefit ,the lace doesn't scratch.

While I like the light feel of batiste (and yes, it is hard to find batiste slips anymore), I should have paid more attention to other reviews. I ordered my "usual" size and, while the slip fits, it is tight. If you are going to order this, order a size bigger.

This is a beautiful slip - in cotton - which is difficult to find these days! It is very smooth because it is made of a high quality long staple cotton, so it glides on easily and clothing is easy to put on over it.

Nice light fabric for summer. I have a few summer dresses that are a bit see through. This works well underneath and doesn't make me feel hot. Good purchase and price.

Do not expect any stretch. I really wish someone would make a slip of cotton jersey that would stretch more but not have the static cling problem. I returned this item.
