Assuming your vehicle is negative earth that is absolutely fine, you’ll just need to get a nice, clean bare metal attachment point to make the contact e.g. not painted or covered in sealant.

Will this kit suit a VW T5 van

It will suit any vehicle front or back , if the bumper is plastic it's easier.i understand that bumpers are all plastic. Also you don't have to take of the bumper ,just drill through with the provided holessaw and 'fish' a draw wire between each hole. I fitted these sensors to the front and they look nice colour

How is the buzzer attached to the car.

We attached them with strong sticky pads but they could be screwed on aswell
