This little gizmo is great for butter curls and other artistic ways of presenting butter that is rock hard straight from the 'fridge.If you live in a very warm climate like me, butter is always kept in the 'fridge and is well nigh unusable for a while unless you haveone of these garnishing tools. Haven't used it on anything else but I would guess it works well on hard cheese too.

I was looking for a tool to make butterballs for sentimental reasons. This tool does a good job for that and is easy to use. It works best on butter that has been out for about 10 minutes. The butter will stick to the tool if too warm.

It’s not as effective as it claims. I am a chef and don’t how do use these tools. It also looks cheap. It is not worth the price and hence I am returning it
