I bought this charger because it was so much cheaper than the original Samsung charger. I just needed a second one to keep at work so that I don't have to constantly carry the original one back and forth with me. This works great. After reading through many of the previous reviews, I'm very careful to always remove my watch and unplug the charger when the battery is full. So far I've had no issues, including overheating issues as others have expressed concerns over. I really think the key is to get the right wall plugin brick that is compatible with this charger. You can't use the newer bricks because they allow too much voltage to run through the charger. If you have a plugin brick from several years ago laying around your house, try that. I found an old LG brick that doesn't allow for fast charging, and it works really great with this watch charger.

I was looking at buying a second Samsung brand charger for my Galaxy watch, but they were more expensive than what seemed reasonable. So I went on Amazon to look for a third-party charger and bought one of these. It worked great! So I bought a second, and a third. Now I have a charger at my nightstand, my desk at home and my desk at work, which is fantastic if you leave the watch display on all the time like I do.I wear the watch more often because I'm less worried about it running low on battery now, so that's a definite plus.This charger is the Amazon ideal product - works well, costs less!

it works...but beware of over heating.....
i noticed that when i take my watch off the charger that the back is warm. and when i take it off the OEM charge its not.... every once in a while i get a message that the watch is over heated and that charging was stopped and i need to remove the watch to let it cool. recently my G-friend used it to charge new galaxy active 2... it over heated within an hour.... so just a word of caution.........
