Q: Is this just pellets or does it have extra treats inside?

Just healthy pellets which my guinea pig loves.

Q: This has alfalfa meal in it I was told alfalfa is not good for adult guinea pigs so why is it in it?

Alfalfa hay is for young guinea pigs. Adults should have 2nd cut timothy hay. The main ingredient in these pellets is timothy. A little alfalfa won't hurt them.
