TekMat Ultra Gun Cleaning Mat, Black, 15" x 44"

Nice mat. I use it as a mouse pad but would work great for my guns too.

Needed a mat large enough to fit rifles for cleaning. This product was just as advertised. It is thick enough to avoid scratching the firearms and is oil/solvent resistant. Also, not expensive at all.You can see a disassembled CZ Bren 2 Ms over the mat; there’s a lot of free space to work on.UPDATE (July 31st, 2022): mat withstands gun oil and solvents, graphics are not damaged. To clean it, spray any mild degreaser (I use Formula 409) and just wipe off with a rag. Very pleased with this product.

Easy deploy and re-roll. Doesn't seem to take a "set". The pattern on the mat is really just "eye candy" and who really cares? Gun oil and solvent do not seem to mar the mat if promptly wiped up with a paper towel. I use the mat about every other week (I live on 11 acres, have my own range and expend about 400 rounds a week).

Please keep in mind that I am relatively new to the AR-15 world and thus, I would have given this a 5 star but I would rather have the mat background white or some light color and the print to be black, that way I could see the images as I am working on my project, however, this is just my opinion and most people probably prefer it just the way it is... this is a very good product, and I do recommend it.

The size is large enough for any gun. There is no bleed through from cleaners. The top shows no stains after wiping with a paper towel, this is important to me because it always looks clean and new.

The AR schematics are nice as reminder if you break it down and forget where something goes.
