Alita: Battle Angel - Dr Ido's Journal (Alita Battle Angel Film Tie in) Paperback – 14 Feb. 2019

This is a nice and well put together book. It has a nice tactile feel to the pages, as if it is an actual Journal, created by the author. The illustrations are nice and there is something interesting to discover at the turn of every page. I happened to buy this as soon as it came out, which secured it at a good lower price than currently shown, so I have given it 5 stars, but if I had to pay the £5 extra, like it is now, it may only have got 4 stars, because of the price, for what it is. For a fan, it's great, but if you are not so die hard of a fan, then I would recommend the hard back 'art of': Alita: Battle Angel - The Art and Making of the Movie (Alita Battle Angel Film Tie in), for a few pounds more. Buy this after you have bought the 'Art of', if you are looking for more movie hype.

Lovely format and artwork. Terrible writing - no effort at writing anything imaginative or creative and no insight into the character of Ido... Someone who watched the movie had a go at writing something...
