Is Nano Invisible, or where is the waterproofing?
Since Ive purchased over 25 different types of LED strips over the past two years to install in various locations (its been a costly trial and error), i hoped the "nano" designation was a new feature. It is.I have recently installed three strips of this product on the interior of a water feature, it asserts IP68 Waterproof, which is a big claim (allows full immersion in water). So far it has lived up to the "waterproof" claim.I was first very skeptical because there is no noticeable/visible waterproofing type film on any of the conductors or LED. All the other IP68 or even IP67 (rated for waterproofing) I've ordered and used over the past two years do contain noticeable coating or silicone type sleeve(s). But most of those failed, and the sleeve type LED strips invariably get moisture then mildew causing dark bloches this diminishing the light output. Hopefully the "nano" will prove over the long term to be viable. They are also, without question, the brightest LED strips ive found in my trial and error (I own, in other brands, the 600 and 300 type strips in 5050 and 32xx.)The backing is definitely stronger than some other brands, but regardless, its always better to not rely on just the tape backing. Clean the surface with denatured alcohol, use drops of super-glue or silicone on top of the 3m tape style backing. Let it set for 24 hours (48 if its going to be underwater) and you will have a proper installation.I would recommend these as the best waterproof and bright LED strips available now.UPDATE Feb 13, 2105: Three strips now have been submerged in the water feature for over two months 24/7. Working perfectly and still the bright as day one through the water.UPDATE July 13, 2015: still working, just ordered and received two more strips.

These are cool white not natural white.
These lights are NOT Natural White. They are the cool white LEDs. The adhesive backing is not very strong. Mine came down within an hour of hanging them on an aluminum bar. I scrubbed the bar clean with steel wool and alcohol before mounting. I'm going to try super glue next. The nano coating appears to be good. My application was to place them inside a range hood for direct lighting, they do a good job of lighting, but they are not pure white.

Great product, but it needs to be stored and ...
Very bright! However, the way the rope light is coiled caused some of the double sided tape to come off the back of the rope light which will compromise the adhesion. I had to put clear packing tape around it. Great product, but it needs to be stored and shipped differently.

LEDs for this product are different with each batch...
i ordered the same product with the same part number a month ago and while this is the same according to the packaging, the LED's have a completely different tint to them, what is white on the previous batch is super light green (yes, i have checked my wired). Green is green, red is red, blue is blue, but the white has a tint to it and is annoying if it is used with the other strip of the same product
