Best of the best
No need to spend extreme amounts of money on additional memory. 2tb hard drive at a great price from a great company. Couldn't ask for more. I did need to purchase a converter kit for the install but that was very cheap.

Perfect for average gamer who also does some work
Old 750GB Western Digital HDD of 10 years started to fail, so I bought this. 2TB at $50 is the perfect price and capacity to hold my games and other files (20GB of iTunes music files!). Just pair it with an M2 SSD to dedicate to your most important files and programs and you should be set for several years before needing any upgrades in storage.

Hard to beat a barracuda hard drive… And the price was very low
A very very low price for a physical hard drive… And hard drives are very dependable especially the barracuda… I used it for a back up and put it on the shelf… Very very happy

As advertised, quiet, reliable.
July 9 2019 Bought 2TB HD as replacement for failing drive in a small-form-factor desktop. Product was new (unused-not refurb), as advertised. It is about as quiet as the quietest desktop hard drive I've had: not silent, but ignorable. The drive arrived uninitialized, but required no special software to partition and format it.July 10 2020 One year later: with almost continuous use, the drive has been trouble-free. Since installation, I have been aware of no sound at all from the drive.

Package handling terrible, but it works
★ When I got this product, the package looked like it was put together with glue and paper. It was dirty, destroyed and very mishandled. I was surprised the product was still intact inside. But it works! I needed more space for games. Ordered this a year ago and still have lots of space.

The price is right.
Drive is indeed brand new and arrived well protected. You should have cables and screws at the ready since this listing does not include any but the drive itself.The hard disk arrives uninitialized. You have to boot up disk management (in windows) and it will prompt immediately to initialize the drive, which I did with MBR and NTFS. Pity there’s no manual, but lucky me I know the process.Coming from a 5400 drive, I can really feel the difference.

Little slow to load game textures inCyberpunk and doom eternal, but 2 TB is great capacity for a great price
