Decide for yourself
I bought one of these waterblocks and to me it looks quality built . I go more with function then bling anyway and besides how can brass or copper or nickle rust ?

Don't drop it on your foot..
I'd read a review of this versus a bunch of TR4 WB's and this got mediocre response, the author stating that its major fault lay with the insufficient washers that come in the box. They are about 1.2 ish milimetre plastic, which, ultimately dictates the pressure on the heat spreader of the CPU, and frankly, they do not provide enough pressure to sufficiently make ideal contact. I tried with additional (not replacement) 1mm steel washers, but I couldn't get the threads to bite.I know that the engineers at EK designed those thumbscrews specifically because they dont offer the ability to use tools; you have no choice but to use your hand tightening skills only.Recently I did a rebuild in a case and when i tried to clean it, my first attempt at loosening the pressure plate, the hex screw started to deform, so I abandoned the idea of cleaning it.I have a 1900x running at 4.2ghz on a 280 rad with a 100mm res and my temps in an open table are about 63c at screaming load -so yeah, it does work, and does a good job at keeping my CPU cool, but at least with my unit, its impossible to nominally mount, and also to disassemble and clean.
