Doesn't last long
Installed this on february on a 2000 chevy astro, went bad on may of same year. It was easily installed and they were doing a good job keeping the lift gate up, but sadly they only lasted me three months.

Installed in Jan - dead in March
I purchased these in Jan of this year, Installed them in early Feb. They worked great for about a month, by the end of March they would not hold the hatch open.
