Kenwood TH-D74A Mini-Manual by Nifty Accessories

If you like Nifty guides, then there is nothing more that needs to be said. This is up to their standards.Beware: The radio's software, in my experience, is still a bit 'buggy'/immature. So, if you do not need the guide right now, you might want to hold off until an update happens. Still, for the price, and considering how the manual that comes with the radio leaves a bit desired, you might want to get the guide immediately. I do not regret getting this guide, and it goes everywhere that I take my radio.This review is for the manual, not for the radio. I love my TH-D74A, but we have "issues" in our relationship, and may need counseling.

This is just yet another great Nifty guide. I have these for a number of my radios - they are especially useful for mobiles and portables, when you need access to a guide to the more obscure features of your radio while out in the field or in you vehicle. These guides never disappoint and this one for the incredibly complex TH-D74A is super useful. The only thing I wish for Nifty in general is to not discontinue guides when the radio is no longer sold. There are a lot of great rigs still be sold used that could use these manuals as well.

Makes the stock manual look bad. This is perfect for keeping in your car or BOB! Covers just the important stuff and does not overwhelm you with stuff you don't need while out in the field. I have one for all of my radios and I recommend to anyone with a new radio to get this quick reference guide!

Covers all the information you need for settings etc, without the un-necessary filler. A little high priced, but sturdy well protected pages. Should last a long time....
