Ceramic Horizon The Original Smart Ring - Programmable for NFC Enabled Devices

I couldn't get these to work. Maybe I'm dumb, maybe it doesn't work. I don't know.

The app can be improved a lot more. The unlock app crash sometime. Other than the NFC app being lack of functionality, the ring looks great and work exceptionally well.

After about a month or so of wearing this I'm still happy with it. I've dropped it on hard surfaces a couple of times without an issue. I really haven't done much with the NFC side but it makes a fun conversational piece.

The design is very stylish and I have had no problems scanning it on NFC devices, I really like the ring and what it means for Smart technology, I would really recommend this product to anyone looking for easily usable Smart technology.

I wish I could leave two reviews, but unfortunately I had to do this as one. I got the Horizon ring through NFC Ring's Kickstarter and my boyfriend received the white version as his reward.I've had zero issues with mine. It fits great (ask the jeweler to use a wide band for fitting, it really helps) and I've had no issues with either side working with my phone or front door. I'm careful with it and make sure to take it off if I'm planning on washing my hands, showering, or sleeping. So far I haven't had any lifting of the tags or cracks or anything.My boyfriend's ring, on the other hand, has not been so lucky. The inner tag popped right off after about a month of wear. He does sleep in it, but he takes it off to shower, or when he's working around kids. We arranged to have it replaced though NFC Ring and got the replacement a few weeks later. He dropped it a few feet onto a sidewalk and it cracked right near the outer tag. The whole thing held together for a while, but yesterday the outer tag popped off completely. Thankfully we found it and glued it back on, and it's been working, but still. I wish they were a bit hardier, or had a better coating to keep the tags on. He's thinking of switching to the earlier metal version if his ceramic one still has issues, guess we'll see.So it's 3 stars from him, but 5 stars from me. If you're careful with it, it's a great handy ring that can do a lot. If you're not, then you'll have a nice ceramic ring with big dents where the tags used to be.
