Simple and generic, but good, clean fun
Yes, this is a no name scooter and its design is uninspiring (and 100% plastic), but it works. And it is good fun, even in a small pool. My six-year-old loves it and, given her light weight, she zooms across the water. Indicative of the scooter's simple design are instructions concerning how to reduce buoyancy: remove the plastic cowling and add rocks to the watertight buoyancy can.Two more things to know: the plastic of which this scooter is constructed stinks, it really smells, a fact common to many low-cost products manufactured in China. Also, the scooter must be kept at arms-length when in use, otherwise things like your swimsuit lace (or long hair!) can get snagged in the prop. My kid wears a swim cap.If your expectations are reasonable, and it you want a scooter at half the cost of a brand name item, then I recommend.ps: Some generic scooters are sold without battery. Make sure any scooter you buy comes with a battery. Mind did.
