Funko DC Primal Age - Batcave Play Set Collectible Figure, Multicolor

Funko really pulled off the fun and excitement of the playset that inspired this one (Castle Grayskull). Everything feels really solid and looks great. My only gripe is the "crystal ball" is too plastic/fake looking compared to everything else. I might buy one of those glittery bouncy balls from a dispenser and swap it out. The throne is solid feeling even though it's somewhat hollow. The giant dino spine is heavy and helps fill up space. The training dummy is nicely sculpted. The weapons are very solid and look cool when they hang on the cave wall. The dungeon looks and feels good to the touch with the nice thick bars. And the main gate is thick and should hold up better than the jawbridge of the 80's toy. It's a fair price for what you're getting. This set is HUGE! And playsets are virtually unheard of in the modern toy world due to costs, so take that into consideration.

Mine came in great shape. I will say, though, that the box had been opened and re-taped like a lot of the reviews mention. I don’t know the reason for that but it seems to be how they’re coming in.As far as the toy goes, I think it’s awesome. Brings back a lot of old Fond He-Man memories. I don’t really “play” with it in any sense that would really test its durability. As an adult collector, I’d say it’s pretty awesome. As a toy for your kids, I’d say you may be looking at broken hinges and latches over time ( not unlike my old Castle Grayskull).It’s a fun set to have if you’re a fan of superheroes, He-Man, or the old He-Man knockoffs. Your kids may even like it too, but it may not hold up over time under normal kid play.

Its a fun castle playset . I don't know to much about the line . But the castle is great for he man style castles and for Marvel and DC figures to use. It also doesn't come with instructions so go by the pictures but you don't need to much to get this thing going :)

I grew up playing with MOTU, this has the same feel and look. My kids and I love this DC Primal Age line. QC on the Batcave seams high, but watch out on the carded figures. The figures’ legs fall off easy when you attempt to reposition. Overall, fair price for a good product.

I guess I'm the lucky one, my box has no dents or tears but the factory tape was cut or damaged and was resealed with scotch tape so definitely not to keep in mint in box collecting. Overall the Batcave is amazing and a geat addition to my He-man collection!

I bought this as a display piece for my Master of the Univer Origins and Master of the WWE universe. It fits in beautifully. Large and solidly built this item is great for collector or kid.

First off, it needs to be known that I'm a huge fan of playsets! When I was a kid, they really helped amp up the imagination factor when playing with my figures. As an adult, they really amp up the display factor.Since this particular playset is produced by Funko, I didn't have high hopes. The first wave of figures from the DC Primal Age line is littered with quality control issues, so I was prepared for some problems with this set. I'm happy to say that I was completely wrong!Let's start with some positives:-There's a huge nostalgic feel to this playset. Comparisons to Castle Greyskull from the 80's wouldn't be out of line, although this is much more basic.-It's a great size. Large enough to feel substantial, but not so large to take up a huge amount of space when folded up.-At the price that I paid ($45) I feel that it's a great value. I don't know that I would pay much more than that, though.-When folded for storage, there's plenty of room for the included accessories and a figure or two as well! You will need move the ribcage staircase and the practice dummy to make it close better (I included a picture to help visualize this), but I love that there's no real need for extra plastic bags to keep things together.-If you don't own or plan on owning any of the DC Primal Age figures or any of the similar lines made by Funko (horror movie characters and Thundercats), DC Universe and Marvel Legends figures can be reasonably used for display as well!Some of the negatives:-While it's not difficult to figure out where things are supposed to go, there are no assembly instructions included.-Mine was delivered in the actual Funko shipping box, but when I opened it up the playset box still had what looked like scotch tape sealing it up. This could be a turn-off for MISB collectors.-The banner doesn't stay up very well. It's held on with two tiny pegs that cause the banner to fall down if the playset is bumped even a little. It would hold in place really well with some glue, but this again could be a turn-off for collectors.All-in-all, I think that this is a great value for the right price. It has some play value for younger children, display value for collectors, and it's just a great throwback to playsets from days gone by!

My new MOTU origins figures fit right into the Batcave like it was designed for them, accessories and all! This could as easily be designed a lair for Skeletor and all his baddies. The overall bat motif doesn't disturb the MOTU aesthetic whatsoever. One of the best crossover toys I've experienced.

This funko batcave is decent, very fun for pictures as well as for light play. The accessories could be better but it's good enough. it is about the same size as the current motu origins castle grey skull.

Prodotto eccellente, la Bat-Caverna di Batman in stile Castello di Grayskull. Avevo sentito molte critiche circa la scarsa qualità dei materiali ma devo dire che mi sembrano invece molto solidi e resistenti, probabilmente solo il tempo darà torto o ragione a detrattori e non. Imballaggio perfetto, i pezzi all'interno della confezione fissati adeguatamente, non ho trovato nulla di danneggiato. Sono soddisfatto dell'acquisto e del prezzo in offerta, ho aspettato qualche mese ma ne è valsa la pena.
