Good Pizza peel
I only use a peel to launch my pies. For removing or moving, I just use a cookie sheet I have. I would have preferred a peel a little thinner to lighten it up, but this isn't too bad. I had a hard time finding a large wood peel on amazon. My pizza steel is rectangular, so I tend to make more rectangular shaped pizzas so I needed something that could fit a 16" pizza on it even though my steel is only 12 deep (18x12). I also needed one with a flat front. It was almost impossible to find a large wood peel with a flat front edge.I finally found this one which doesn't quite have a flat front, but it was the closest I could find that was large enough for what i need. It has worked ok so I can't complain. If it was any rounder it wouldn't have worked. Again, it is a little heavier than I wanted. Wish I had a planer to take it down a 1/4" or so. Would still be plenty strong and much lighter. The peel is nice and flat. My pies slide right off with a little cornmeal and cleans up nice and easy.

Decent quality, but has some negatives
I wanted a large board mostly for serving pizzas. This peel seems to be fairly decent quality. The handle is thin enough to wrap your hand around. HOWEVER... The board is pretty heavy to easily hold one handed -- I would need to use two hands once it's loaded with a pizza. The end of the peel is too thick to be able to retrieve a pizza from the oven. And, you would NOT be able to get a 16" pie on this peel. The edges are all beveled, so you lose a good inch or so, plus the length of the board is not 16" up to the edges and the handle. I will be able to use this to launch a pie, and to serve -- but I'd need my thin steel pizza peel to pull a pie out of the oven. I liked the idea of the handle, but I am deciding whether to return it and get a plain round board without handle just for serving.

Solid and well made.
Got to love the bamboo! This thing is solid and works great. I got the big one. I use it as a cutting board too to slice the pizza. General pro tip. Cook the pizza for 5 min with no toppings, then remove and load it up and put it back in the oven. This will make your life easy.

Best Home Pizza Peel
I’ve had this peel for a while and find it is the best pizza peel I have ever owned, or at least the easiest in releasing a pizza on to my pizza steel. Making pizza is a frustrating hobby of mine with getting the pizza to release from the peel being the most annoying part. Every time I lay the dough onto a peel it is a race against time before the dough absorbs the flour/corn meal/semolina that I rub onto the peel and releasing becomes a problem. This peel is so smooth that it goes a long way to relieving the release issue without having to use excessive amounts flour. It’s still a hit or miss activity, but that’s on me. I think the bamboo is genius and the main reason I like this peel so much. It is miles ahead of metal peels I tried (and failed) to use in the past.I would never, ever use this as a cutting board so as not to damage the smooth surface making it harder to slide a pizza off, but if pizza making is not the cruel obsession it is for me, then it would be a very nice cutting board.
