Strong and sturdy bicycle carrier rack
The media could not be loaded. I bought this rear mounted bicycle carrier rack after having it in my wish list forever. I watched a lot a good reviews over the years and am glad to have waited. I have some images to show how it looks on the car.It took me up to one hour to install the rack on our Hyundai Grand i10 (2013) car. The instruction booklet has certainly helped. Even with the instructions, it requires some patience to understand how to actually position the rack. Luckily for me, there is an image of this rack installed on a Grand i10 right in the product images. Otherwise it could have taken me an additional 30-45 minutes to figure it out.The first thing I checked after the installation is whether the rack would fold or move about when one of the cars door is closed roughly. The rack did flinch a little due to the tension in the belts. I realized that this is better than having a rigid installation. After the installation and mounting my bicycle, I found that the bicycle protrudes a bit on the right side. This is probably due to the design on my bicycle. Nevertheless, one would need to be extra careful of the cars dimensions. The mount was almost as tall as me (guy about 5'11" tall)Likes1. Carrier rack is strong and sturdy, but not too heavy. I could easily lift it and complete the installation with ease.2. The rack held my bicycle in place through bumps, uneven surfaces and even the obnoxious rumble strips.3. Rubber protectors are strong enough to hold the entire frame without any lateral movement4. Installation is straightforward despite time-taking process. Not sure if everyone will feel the same.5. Mounting process was a challenge the first time, probably due to the design of my bicycle, but it was painless to mount and dismount after the first time6. Removing the frame was easier and it was easier and faster to install the second time.7. Once folded it fits well in the boot.Dislikes1. Side straps were ridiculously hard to get right. I could not secure these well enough upon 10+ attempts. The side straps were always slipping down the side slot of my car. It took some time to arrive at an optimum setup with the side straps. It was not satisfactory, but not terrible either.2. When the bicycle is mounted, the rear parking sensors where going crazy as if I was about to hit an object behind. This was uncomfortable as I couldn't back my car in our parking space with confidence. This was unexpected, but I don't think much could be done about it. The rear parking sensors didn't object when the bicycle was not mounted.Note on delivery: Bluedart shipping messed up the package somewhere as I found that the package was broken upon delivery. Luckily nothing inside seemed to be affected. However, no Allen key was found inside and one of the washers was missing.

Excellent product
It is an excellent product, very easy to install. Build quality is very good. Installation takes max five minutes. The design adapts to any car. I'am using it on my Scross, also tried on Sedan, fits perfectly. I am using it from 2018 without any issue. The customer support is also excellent. I did carry 3 cycles without any issues. I highly recommend.

Not worth
Not sturdy. Difficult to fix. The product cannot hold the weight of even one bicycle.

Belt and hook at the bottom is not sturdy
The product is of good quality. The belt and hook at top and wing side are quiet sturdy. But the belt and hook at the bottom doesn’t not hold it tight. It gets loosen up with small jumps or speed breakers. As a result the cycle becomes not sturdy and starts shaking.

Sturdy, World Class product
It is an excellent product. It is very easy to install. Installation takes max five minutes. The design adapts to any car. I've got a new dzire as well as an Alto. Fits on both in a jiffy. Carriage of the cycle poses no problem. I've driven on numerous ocassions to Chandigarh. I drove cautiously first time. However after checking the installation after 30 odd KMs, I found the mount absolutely steady and the cycle mounted snugly. Thereafter, I've driven around on my normal speeds of 80-90 KMPH and the cycle or the mount did not move even a millimetre. In fact I forgot that a cycle is mounted on the car. It was so steady and problem free. On halting, I uninstalled it in two minutes and stored it in the boot. Once after servicing of my cycle at Decathlon Chandigarh, I could remount the rack in 3-4 mins, mount the cycle and drive back home to Patiala at quite high speed. No problems encountered. Go for it.

Extremely reliable
Firstly, I mounted this rack on a Jeep Compass. For those thinking whether this stand can be used over a long road-trip, I drove over 2k Kms without an issue. I was stopping frequently in the beginning to check. However, after 300 kms I realised that I have nothing to worry. I have driven through some of the worse roads in our country and I was amazed to see that the bicycle didn't even move an inch. However, one cautionary advice. If possible use a good ratchet strap to add more stability. Adds an extra layer of safety which might be required for harsh conditions.
