Nit Free Terminator Lice Comb - Professional Stainless Steel Comb for Effective Head Lice Treatment (Colors May Vary) (Pack of 3)

After a long and agonizing battle with nits and head lice brought in by my daughter to my waist length hair, I finally won the war! Using several techniques, notably coconut oil smothering overnight, blowing the hair dry for lengthy periods, using a flattening iron and this comb in the shower with tons of conditioner I finally walked in to be checked at the local Rapunzel's lice salon and they told me I was completely nits free.My husband had shaved his head, my daughter literally shaved her head and is lucky enough to be able to pull the look off, but I was at my wit's end thinking I was never going to get rid of these things despite all the laundering cleaning Etc in addition to everything I was doing to my hair. This comb really does work, I do suggest watching some YouTube videos on how to properly comb it out. If this is something that you have to do yourself, I would do it as I did, in the shower and using tons of inexpensive conditioner. I sectioned my hair off and combed it, rinsed the comb, combed it from another Direction, rinsed, I used the water to help run the comb down while making sure to have my hair at the bottom of the comb to get the nits off.If you want to save yourself a bunch of time and hassle and you have the money, I suggest just going into a salon that specializes in treating it. But I just couldn't do that and tons of olive, coconut, mint, neem and other oils combined with all the above measures worked over a 2 and a half week time frame. This comb was the linchpin of all of this and I couldn't recommend it more! Good luck!

This gets out nits! AND Lice! Did I mention this removes NITS??????It doesnt kill them, but it gets them out. hot water to rinse this out in the sink or gently using ur fingers can help get them out and kill them.TLDR:When the notice for lice exposure arrived from my son's school, i didnt give it another thought. His hair is so short - his scalp is seen all over, no way for lice to survive there in a shower i thought.6 weeks later, the notice forgotten, with my own scalp itching, I thought....dryness...winter.....and saturated my head with my conditioner for several minutes. When rinsing off, in my hands, an adult lice came off my hair.Thats it! I began the hunt for lice. Boy, i wondered HOW even I got it. Combing like crazy for hours, with my old lice comb, at night and morning everyday, and using Nix (my scalp was totally irritated after), I still had no peace. My scalp was itching and I was extremely unclear when and where the exposure had happened. Finally out of sheer frustration, i did my research online and ordered this lice comb one night.Next day, as a precaution, I combed my son hair after saturating it with oil. Wow....behold an infestation. Hair was still short (he has a haircut every 4 weeks), and yet, there were several adult lice and nits all over. Right after an hour of this discovery, and the comb down for my son using my regular lice comb, this terminator comb was delivered.I immediately opened it and ran it through his hair. One stroke, and my son, who, by now was freaked out, said : "mom, this thing is getting it out. I can feel it the way its pulling my hair"."Did it hurt?" I asked."No, its just combing very thoroughly".And then, I saw the comb...OMG, saturated with nits and lice. I ran to the bathroom, and 30 mins later, I was confident my son was adult lice free and mostly nit free. As a precaution after combing, I also used the "Schooltime Shampoo for Super Lice & Nit Elimination" and then combed his hair again.Day 2: oil application, terminator comb use: found some more nits but no lice. Kid showers his hair.Day 3: repeat. Found 1 nit and no lice. Kid showers his hair.Day 4: repeat. No nits and no lice. Kid showers his hair.After Day 7 of clear hair, I am repeating this every other day only. And after a month, I will check twice a week. And we will stick with that.Using this on myself later, i was confident I too was lice free since it got nothing.For parents everywhere - whether you have boys or girls, get this comb. Run it through your child's hair after adding some oil, everyday for just 2 mins. If the comb is clean, you are good. Whatever shampoo you use, combing is a must and this one is amazing.I wish this comb was available when I was a kid. Boy it would have given me back months and months of my life, spent in combing out lice and nits, and being unable to keep my hair long!

I’m actually in the business of lice removal. The Terminator Comb is by far the best comb I’ve found for lice & nit removal. The teeth/ prongs are close together unlike others which are further apart. This makes my job so much easier!! I remove lice & nits from children & adults all day everyday. You wouldn’t believe how many children think it “tickles” or “feels good” as I’m running the comb through their hair. You read it right… tickles & feels good to remove lice! Where was this when I was a kid? Lol

I’m almost 38 weeks pregnant and a few days ago I discovered my two girls (5&7) somehow brought home lice! I checked my own head and I had nits in my head too!! I started freaking out because I definitely can’t imagine bringing a newborn into this scenario so I was on a mission to eradicate these bugs ASAP. Sent hubby to get 6 boxes of Nix. We were up until 4 am treating and combing the girls hair out as well as mine. Unfortunately we could NOT get all the nits out and I was freaking out! Hubby told me about this nit free brand lice comb that he thinks will be the game changer. After reading all the reviews online I immediately ordered them and received them the day after next. We soaked everyone’s hair in a vinegar solution to loosen the nits and then sectioned off the hair and started combing in a 4 way fashion (watch the YouTube videos!). Sooo many nits came out. After going through all the hair once we combed it all over again but with conditioner Added in the hair. I checked the girls hair after washing and I couldn’t find a single nit!! This comb is amazing! It was a lifesaver! We are going to comb out everyone’s hair again every 3 days for 2 weeks and redo the lice treatment in 7 days. This comb put my paranoid, stressed, heavily pregnant mind to ease that we have this under control now and my new baby will not be entering a lice infested home!
