I have owned this model dryer for YEARS. Because of my clumsiness, I needed to purchase another. The new dryer is just as AMAZING as the original. The dryer has a strong air flow when adjusted to full and gentle when not. I love that it fits in my drawer when the handle is folded (or a pocket of a carry bag when traveling). I will never buy a different dryer. This is perfection for me.

What can I say? The green version of this bought in 2006 lasted 24 times longer than the relationship I was in when I bought the hairdryer. I nearly held a funeral for it when it hit the dust as it had been with me through a LOT of life and lived to dry the hairs on my kid’s head. I of course bought this red infiniti pro by Conair knowing we were already off on a good foot. Here goes my next hair dryer marriage! Love the dryer and so does my kid. Fantastic motor and great quick easy drying!

I purchased this dryer for travel because 1) it came with a diffuser 2) the handle folds. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and blow my hair straight in the winter and lightly dry it using the diffuser in the summer.The dryer's heat is the same as my larger Conair infinity pro 1875 which is outstanding. However, the dryer weighs the same as the larger Conair. Since it is more compact, it is really heavy when using it due to the compact design. the tradeoff is a great compact dryer with excellent heating air quality vs the weight. One could purchase the much less expensive Conair travel model (much lighter weight) but there is a definite difference with the air-drying quality.Diffuser is small so outstanding size for travel and works well. The dryer size is outstanding for travel. The only disadvantage is that it is heavy. I wish the dryer was dual voltage.Model #270NR - Amazon does not show the model number.

This hair dryer is the bomb. It really dries your hair fast and the blow speed is awesome.

Lots of power. Drying my long thick hair takes a lot less time with this hairdryer as opposed to others.

I have thick hair so as you might imagine it takes a while to blow dry my hair. Once my blow dryer broke I knew I needed to find one that would work better and is higher powered so I wasn’t blow drying it for 30 minutes. I was so excited to get this in the mail! It was one of my best purchases! The temperate is perfect and it’s hot and high powered and had a bunch of settings. It’s not too bulky and it does fold to fit in your bag easier. And the cord never tangled or anything like that. Overall this was a great purchase and I highly recommend!!!

I can't say I am disappointed, but my last Conair was better. However, it burnt out within a year, possibly because I dropped it, but this time I didn't want to spend too much cash to replace it and that one is no longer available. FYI--The one I had and bought on Amazon was: Conair 213XP Infiniti Professional Tourmaline Ceramic Technology Ionic Styler, BlackI selected this one because I was so pleased with the last one.The color and functionality of this dryer are it's best features. It probably makes a better "travel" dryer than anything. It doesn't allow you to adjust the temp (cool, warm, hot), but it does have a cold shot button. You can only choose High or Low speeds. I totally missed those details in the online description that before my purchase. I did watch the video and it is what sold me, but the video makes this dryer look more powerful than it really is. Perhaps if you don't have thick hair like me it would perform more to my liking.In my opinion, I don't think it is even close to salon performance. It says it uses ion technology, but my last Conair that was labeled ionic worked so much better and dried my hair faster with hardly any frizz. This gets the job done, It dries my hair pretty fast, but my hair is very frizzy after which annoys me. I will probably take the plunge and buy a higher-end hair dryer in the future, until then, this is OK and will get me through!

Bought the for my wife and she loves it. She said she can't wait for our trip to AZ. Her old mirror wasn't easy to pack and it wasn't lighted. This one solves both of those problems. It looks and feels like it's very well built. "Happy wife, happy life!"
