Cal38T6 Leather Belt Custom Holster for Taurus 605 357 Magnum Snub Nose Revolver (Right Hand)

You know, I almost didn't buy this holster because of the shipping charges. That would have been a huge mistake. I've been looking for the perfect concealed carry holster for my Taurus 605 for a long time now. I've looked at several different ones — I even bought a few; but I never found one that I was completely happy with. The main problem with the holsters I've tried has been that they did not hold the gun as securely as I would like. In fact, with one of the holsters I bought, the retention was so bad that I could actually draw the gun from the holster without releasing the thumb break! Comfort is another big issue for me — I carry nearly every day and the discomfort caused by an ill-fitting holster can become downright torturous by the end of a long day.When I ran across this holster on Amazon several months ago, I was impressed by the amount of positive customer feedback it had received. I also read a few online reviews, all of which rated this holster to be one of the best out there. One review even called it a "best buy." Then it dawned on me . . . if I were to find a holster that I loved as much as most of the reviewers seemed to love this one, I would gladly pay $60 or $80 (or even more) for it without batting an eye. Well, this one costs far less than that, even including the shipping! So the logical thing to do was to give this holster a try. I'm sure glad I did!As for the holster itself, the craftsmanship and leather quality are excellent. It fits my 605 absolutely perfectly. It retains the firearm securely — there's no way the gun is coming out of the holster until the thumb break is physically released. The ride height carries the majority of the gun's mass above the center-line of the belt which makes for a very comfortable concealment holster. The slightly forward cant makes the entire grip accessible for a fast yet safe draw. The full lining ensures a smooth draw while at the same time providing a measure of protection for the gun's finish. All in all, the quality of this holster is top notch and the leather is just beautiful.To aid in the break-in period, I treated my new holster with Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative with beeswax. I typically apply a small amount this to all my holsters every month or so depending on how much I'm using them. I've been wearing this holster for a couple of days now, and already it is the most comfortable concealment holster I own. In case you haven't noticed, I love this holster.Simply put, the Cal38T6 Leather Belt Holster is the absolute best carry and concealment holster for the Taurus 605 that I have been able to find. I suspect that all of the Cal38 holsters are equally great for their particular applications; but for sure, don't be afraid to give this one a try.Oh, by the way, regarding customer service . . . I ordered this holster on 3/13/21 at 4:30 pm; I received it on 3/17/21 at 10:00 am. That's less than 4 days for those of you who are counting, and that's pretty impressive considering the package originated in Istanbul, Turkey and I live in Michigan (USA)! If you decide to do business with this seller, I promise that you will be impressed with their commitment to service. For what its worth, I'm 72 years old and in my lifetime nobody has provided me with better customer service than I got from Cal38.

Finding a fitted holster for the Taurus 605 Poly Protector I'd rather difficult, so when I found this one through Amazon I ordered it promptly.The holster arrived in about a week and was in great condition with no blemishes.Fit was super tight at first, but after leaving the revolver in the holster and operating the retention snap a bit, it now snaps and draws smoothly.I'd heartily recommend this holster and the manufacturer due to their great product and attention to customer service.

The quality is good. The fit is good. Took just a wee bit of stretching and it fits perfectly. Very good. Like the other guy said, I almost didn't buy it because of the shipping but I'm glad I did.
