Flameless Flickering Advent Candles With Wax Covered Led Hallmark

These look pretty realistic until you turn them on and then it’s obvious they are battery operated. They turn on by twisting the cap that keeps the batteries in. I pre-loaded all the batteries and kept them partially untwisted until the week I needed to turn them on. They do run on a schedule but I wish it had more hours on. I can also verify what everyone else has remarked about their fit into a candle holder. As long as I never bumped the tray/ottoman they were on mine stayed in ok, but any nudge and they all fell down. I’ll continue to use them because it reduces fire hazard, but the base could be better designed, maybe with silicone instead of plastic so it will conform to a candle holder. Also, I think I paid $35 which is overpriced but battery operated Advent candles aren’t common or easy to find.

The candles do not fit my advent wreath which I think is a pretty standard size, I even tried to pull the brass prongs apart. Then when I force them down inside each holder, they come on and eventually fall over. Also the 'purple' candles shine blue, in case that bothers you (I personally prefer purple, symbol for royalty in the Bible). There is no remote but sure wish there was. I need the advent candles and do not want to bother with real candles due to grandkids so I will keep them. Still I will be on the look-out for a flickering, flameless set in the future. I am only giving a three star just because the bottom base does not fit in my advent wreath. To big of a threaded base.

Not at all “realistic “ looking - pretty pricey.

These are great. I bought them for my grandson (8 y/o) with an Advent Wreath & I love that they are on a timer plus have a base on the candles themselves that hold them in place.

Wish I knew about these years ago. Would love a set of all white ones for Christmas.

They were great! They came on every evening and turned off on their own.

Like the fact that they do not burn
