I actually like these votives a lot more than I thought I would. This is my first experience with battery powered candles and these look great in my decorative outdoor garden lanterns. I love the ease of using the remote to power on and off, though I need to direct the remote to each candle individually. I’m currently using three candles and this requires three pushes of the remote on/off, one near each candle; mush more convenient than lighting and extinguishing flames on wax candles. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the flickering, concerned that it would be too much or look fake, but it’s subtle and natural looking.I will say that of the six candles, there is some tone variation. This is not an issue for my intended use, but something to consider if you require uniform tone for your chosen use/display.I have not used the timer function.

Remote control only lights all six tealights if they are in close proximity to each other. Easy to use - lighted area issufficient for need, but disappointed that the area covered must be within one normal room size. I had hoped to useone light outside front door and another in adjoining indoor hallway but that didn't work. Together in one area andthey are fine - separated and one or the other won't light up.

I love these electric votives - they look very much like real votives minus the fire concern. The remote and timer work as they're supposed to. Batteries lasted 2-3 weeks with the candles On for 4 hours a day.I bought replacement batteries (CR2450) in a multi-pak of 20 on Amazon for less than I would have paid for 4 at local stores.

I love these and they are fairly bright! I just wish I could understand the timer. When I hit 4hr, it turns off but comes back on the next night for hours into the night, and never does the 4hour intranet after the first time. I’ve tried to reset the time a few times, but I’ll wake up in the middle of the night to go The the bathroom and they’re on at 4am when they were supposed to shut off at midnight. But I like my path lit so it’s not much of a complaint. I just wish it did what the timer is supposed to do.

Really wanted a set of votives with a remote, and these have a nice warm yellow color and flicker and the on/off remote works great. Haven't been able to check the timer so can't comment. The candles unfortunately use the same frequency as the mute and volume buttons for my tv, so both the TV and cable remote turns the candles on and apparently interferes with or resets the timer. Otherwise they work great and were exactly what I wanted.

I was reluctant at first to order these candles...OMG so glad I did.. They work great. The remote works well. (Across the room). The timer function was amazing for this price point. My pumpkins were lit automatically.

I really enjoy this product. I use them in wall scones and they look great. It would be nice to have the option to purchase an additional remote. I’m going to purchase some as Christmas gifts.

We have a Halloween chandelier that uses tealights. One concern is the fire hazard, the other is getting to it. These lights took care of both concerns.
